Build time buffers into your schedule! Hair expected to take 45 min? Give yourself 50. Drive from hotel to ceremony typically 20 min? Give yourself 30.

One of the most common questions I get as a wedding planner is… ‘When should we book?’

The ideal window for securing your venue and key vendors is 12-18 months before your wedding day. That may sound early, but in-demand venues and top photographers can book up fast, especially during peak seasons like summer and early fall.

From florists to DJs, makeup artists to rental companies, the list can grow quickly. And with each vendor comes contracts, meetings, logistics, and timelines to manage. That’s where I come in.
