Always build a little buffer time into your event schedule!

✨ Here’s the truth: no matter how perfectly you plan, things almost always run a few minutes late—photos take longer, speeches go over, travel between locations can be slower than expected.

By adding just 10–15 minutes of cushion between key moments, you give yourself (and your vendors!) breathing room. That way, even if things shift, the day still feels stress-free and smooth—and you stay right on track without anyone feeling rushed.

As an event coordinator, this is one of the first things I work into a timeline because I’ve seen how much difference it makes in keeping the day relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. 💛
