Return of the Headless Horseman – 👻Haunted Escape

🎃It was a great successful first year outdoor evet that ran for 6 days between Oct 26th to 31st.

🎃The set up took 3 days, however the success is due to prior Lockdown team planning and a focused and dedicated team effort onsite with temporary construction and theming.

💀During the event on Sunday Oct 31st we did run out of cotton candy and then at 10:30pm Sunday Night Oct 31st we ran out of propane in 3 different areas of the Haunt and had frozen tired volunteers, thus turning away numerous groups to close early.

👍All in all it was a great successful event with many stories, scares and spooks for all.

🗝️This 6 day outdoor event was pulled off with the much needed donated time of 20 volunteers (some donating 1 day and some the whole 6 days), Lockdown staff and their donated time and those 500 people who came out to support and experience the outdoor Haunted Escape, many of them braving the cold weather.

We also could not have done this without the support of;
Kraze 101.3 - Red Deer's #1 Hit Music Station for helping us advertise the event
Action Equipment Rentals for helping us with scaffolding
Little Jon's Portable Toilets for the outdoor washrooms
Princess Auto Red Deer for lending us the pallets
Spirit Halloween red deer for helping us in many ways
and Josh for the straw bails and many deliveries we requested as we kept adding more lol

Thus, we collectively as a community raised 💲3797.00 for the Red Deer Food Bank in this much needed difficult time in society.
Even though we as a business have been hit hard by the pandemic, we also know we are in this together and do what we can.
As a creative bunch, this is one thing we know how to do, create and entertain.

As for plans next year, you will need to watch our Facebook in summer/fall 2022…
