What a beautiful day I had with a client and friend today. I discovered a totally unexpected side effect of sharing and having someone listen; by the time we were finished two days of filming and visiting, this lovely lady had the biggest smile and just glowed, vibrant and beautiful taking years off her age.

There's something magical about sharing our stories.

Story telling tips.
When telling your story it’s important to think about what message or lesson is in the story. Once you’ve got it in mind you can let it go. It’ll be there underneath and come through. Imagine who you want to tell the story to. Even if they aren’t there in front of you it can help to imagine them and what they mean to you. Then take a moment to visualize the event’s and surroundings of the story you’re about to tell. Take a breathe and really go there. Feel how you felt, who was with you, where you were? Don’t gloss over things to make yourself look good. We all have flaw’s and the best heroes are the ones who are relatable.

Also it’s good to keep in mind the words attributed to Dr. Seuss to “be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
