Honoring National Indigenous Peoples Day ๐
Today, we take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. At Mountain Music Events, we recognize the importance of respecting and honoring the land, cultures, and stories of the Indigenous communities.
We acknowledge the traditional territories of the Treaty 6 and Treaty 7 regions, specifically the land on which Red Deer and central Alberta reside. We respect the histories, languages, and cultures of the First Nations, Mรฉtis, and Inuit peoples, and recognize the importance of reconciliation and building stronger relationships.
We honor the resilience, creativity, and wisdom of Indigenous Peoples, and acknowledge the significance of their stories, traditions, and contributions to our shared society. We believe in the importance of listening, learning, and growing together.
As we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, we invite you to join us in reflecting on the importance of cultural understanding, respect, and reconciliation. Let's work together to build a more inclusive and equitable community, where everyone's voice is heard and valued.
From our family to yours, we wish you a day filled with love, respect, and celebration of the rich cultures and traditions of Indigenous Peoples. ๐
