*MUSICIAN HIGHLIGHT*

Joining this year, Saints and Sinners:

Classically trained pianist Mark Mitchell learned to play the blues in a jazz-rock combo in high school. With a doctorate in composition, he has had professional performances of concertos, choral works (including one broadcast by the Tabernacle Choir) and musicals. From his work in the game industry Mark has music and sound credit on over 40 published games. Now he's trying his hand at playing the rock classics and writing new songs!

Saints & Sinners are a Raymond based band that has been together for 12+ years. They perform covers from every decade back to the 60s. Currently they are focusing on originals and plan to start recording this fall. This year they will have 6 to showcase including 2 premiers.

Kevin Vezina moved from Ontario in 87 and started playing in the Lethbridge area shortly after..played in many local bands in the 90s "...I've played in both original and cover bands and in the last decade, I've played in bands such as form 9 , Fast Times and Lawless Murphy ..I've opened for big bands such as the Sheep Dogs and Trooper.."
Kevin will be warming up with a guitar duel at 5:45 and then will join Saints and Sinners at 7 as a guest lead for some of your favorites.

*MUSICIAN HIGHLIGHT*

Sydnee Roberts was born and raised in Raymond. Her lifelong passion for performing led her to the United States, where she earned her music degree and spent time living in New York. Eventually, the pull of home brought her back to raise her family. Today, she now shares her deep love of music with the next generation as the choral director at Raymond High School, where she leads the RHS Singers. She’s so happy to be back on stage tonight singing with a band for her hometown!

These are the shirts for this year!

We are getting super excited about this year's Raymond Music Festival! Tickets are on sale now, and at the front gate. There will be a concession with burgers and hot dogs, and, of course, amazing local musicians who have worked hard to prepare for this event!!

*MUSICIAN HIGHLIGHT*

Jaylin Rasmussen has been singing her whole life, often finding herself more comfortable singing in front of many people than speaking in front of a few. She grew up in a very musical home and loved that there was always someone playing the piano or singing in the house. When she was in high-school she tried her hand at writing lyrics and a melody for a piano piece her dad had written and turned it into the first song she co-wrote with him.

Joining her on stage today is her father, Cory Rasmussen (piano), her older brother Jordan Rasmussen (drums), and Jamie Dixon (bass) accompanying some original songs written by herself and Cory Rasmussen.

Ivory West is a Singer and Vocal Coach currently living in Mountain View Alberta. She has been performing her whole life and has recently returned from her vocal studies at BYU-Idaho. This fall she plans on moving to Lethbridge with her husband Isaac where she will continue her education and establish her career. This is Ivory's 5th year participating in the Raymond Music Festival.
