I think this might be one of my favourite new varieties. My dahlia collection is 2 fold for me, 1st if I am trying to find varieties that check all the boxes as a cut flower-early blooms, long strong stems, powerhouse producer, good size blooms etc. and then good tubers. I know yellow is not the most popular flower colour but I love it and I’m always on the hunt for the perfect yellows whether it’s buttery creamy yellows or deep golden yellow. This dahlia is Darcy and I half expect the colour to change as the season progresses but I am loving it rn! I can see it pairing well w Golden Sceptre which is one of the yellow dahlias that has been in my garden since the beginning of time.

I never start my glads, and I like planting them deeper so they stay standing better the therefore they are usually late...
