🌊💙 HARBOURFEST IS MORE THAN A FESTIVAL — IT’S COMMUNITY! 💙🌊
One of the things we’re most proud of is being able to use Harbourfest to support the organizations and community groups that work hard all year to make Pugwash a better place.
❤️ Pugwash Legion Peace Branch 60 – through the Harbourfest Beer Garden, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Legion.
🐾 Marilyn & Friends Feral Spay & Neuter Program – through the Sinkers Conference, helping support their work in our community.
🚒 Pugwash Fire Department – through Harbourfest Presents, where we passed the boot to support our volunteer firefighters.
🥾 Cumberland Trails Association – who help manage road control during Harbourfest events, and whom we’re proud to support with a donation in appreciation of their work.
🏥 North Cumberland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary – through the Crockery Smash event, raising funds for our local hospital.
🌺 Pugwash Communities in Bloom – who have coordinated Tie a Knot for Peace at Harbourfest for years, bringing a beautiful message of peace to the festival.
🌿 Friends of the Pugwash Estuary – who are always onsite at Harbourfest raising awareness about the estuary and connecting with people and potential members.
🎣 A Day in the Life of a Fisherman – an event we’re proud to contribute to and support, celebrating our lobster fishing heritage and community.
🎄 Annual Pugwash Christmas Dinner – another important community tradition that Harbourfest is proud to be a part of.
Harbourfest is about more than one weekend in August. It’s about creating opportunities for local organizations to fundraise, promote their causes, build membership and connect with the community.
We’re grateful to be able to give back—and even more grateful to the volunteers and organizations who give so much to Pugwash all year long. ❤️
