🎶 Alex & Asha Campbell’s Wedding – August 29, 2026 💍
What a beautiful setting for Alex & Asha Campbell’s wedding in Malagash, Nova Scotia, held at the family’s waterfront property overlooking the Northumberland Strait!
We provided sound for the outdoor wedding ceremony along the bank overlooking the shore, followed by wireless microphone services and background music for the reception under the large tent.
As the evening continued, we played the couple’s key songs for their formal dances before opening up the dance floor with a great mix of party hits, favourite dance songs, and requests throughout the night. The celebration carried on with family and friends enjoying themselves and dancing the night away!
We also had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic reception meal catered by Wally’s Catering.

🎉 Congratulations to Cameron & Natalie! 💍🎶

What a great wedding celebration at The Music Barn in Sackville, New Brunswick! With its rustic country atmosphere, beautiful outdoor ceremony area, and barn-style reception space, it was a fantastic setting for their special day.

DJ Dave Services provided sound for the outdoor ceremony, followed by a full sound system inside the barn for the reception and dance. I also added a third speaker in the kitchen/bar area so guests could continue to enjoy the music and hear announcements wherever they were gathering.

Throughout the reception, I provided MC services, taking care of the important housekeeping announcements and calling tables for the meal to help keep everything organized and flowing smoothly. I also played the couple’s selected songs for the wedding party introductions, formal dances, and other key moments throughout the evening.

Once the formalities were finished, it was time to celebrate! 🎶🕺💃 We kept the dance floor going with a great mix of dancing hits and favourites for Cameron and Natalie’s family and friends.

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves from beginning to end, and it was another wonderful wedding celebration to be part of.

DJ Dave Services was back at the Elm Tree Tavern for another fun summer evening!
It turned into a busy night with a great crowd, lots of familiar faces, plenty of requests, and music keeping everyone entertained throughout the evening. There’s always something special about a summer night at the Elm Tree, good people, good music, and a great atmosphere!

🎤 Congratulations to RAYMEX Lift on their official ribbon cutting celebration in Amherst!

It was a pleasure for DJ Dave Services to provide the audio services for this exciting event at Precise Design Engineering Solutions in the Amherst Industrial Park.

I provided background music as guests arrived and gathered, followed by full sound support for the official ceremony, ensuring the speeches and presentations could be clearly heard throughout the event. I also recorded the ceremony, providing a lasting keepsake of this important milestone.

The celebration marked the official launch of RAYMEX Lift manufacturing in Amherst, through a partnership with Precise Design Engineering Solutions. Developed by Tracey McGillivray and Liam Maaskant, RAYMEX Lift is an innovative Canadian product designed to help safely lift a person following a fall, supporting greater independence while also helping caregivers, health-care professionals and first responders.

The ribbon cutting brought together community members, business leaders and representatives from several levels of government to celebrate not only the company, but another great example of innovation and manufacturing happening right here in Cumberland County.

A special congratulations to Tracey, Liam, the team at Axtion Independence Mobility, and Precise Design Engineering Solutions on establishing Amherst as the manufacturing home for RAYMEX Lift.

Thank you, Tracey, for trusting DJ Dave Services with the audio and sound support for such an important occasion. It was a privilege to play a small part in helping make the official launch look and sound professional!

What a celebration for Jenna & Will! 🎶💍

DJ Dave Services had the pleasure of being part of Jenna and Will’s wedding day in beautiful Pugwash, providing sound and music from the ceremony right through to a packed dance floor!

The day began at the historic Thinkers Lodge, where I provided a dedicated sound system for the ceremony. One of the special moments was a live performance by the bride’s brother, Devon, who sang and played guitar. I mic’d his vocals and amplified his guitar, and he sounded amazing!

The celebration then moved to the Pugwash Lobster Factory on the waterfront, where I had a separate sound system set up for the reception, along with an additional speaker on the deck so guests enjoying the beautiful outdoor setting could still be part of everything happening inside.

With Fabulously Rich performing live nearby in the park, we coordinated something extra special, the band joined the celebration and performed Jenna and Will’s first dance live! A pretty memorable way to start the evening!

From there, Gerald with DJ Dave Services provided the key songs, background music and kept the party going with favourites and requests throughout the night. The dance floor was packed and this group definitely came ready to celebrate!

A great collaboration, a beautiful waterfront setting, live music, and an incredible crowd made for a fantastic wedding day.

Congratulations to Adam and Kate! 💍

Their beautiful wedding celebration took place at the Lobster Factory, located along the Pugwash waterfront and overlooking Pugwash Harbour and the Northumberland Strait.

DJ Dave Services provided sound throughout the venue, with speakers inside the hall and outside on the waterfront deck. A wireless microphone was especially helpful as guests moved between the indoor and outdoor celebration spaces throughout the evening.

I was also pleased to provide a small screen for a special video presentation created for the wedding couple by Tracey C***s, featuring a meaningful song and video dedicated to Adam and Kate.

Early in the evening, an unexpected power outage affected the surrounding area. Fortunately, I live just across the village, so I was able to quickly head home, pick up my quiet generator, extension cords, and extra gas, and return to get the sound and music running again with very little interruption to their special day.

From the couple’s meaningful formal dance selections to guest requests, popular hits, and longtime favourites, the dance floor stayed busy throughout the evening. Everyone celebrated right until the last possible moment!

Congratulations to Thomas and Rachel on their wedding at the stunning Hopewell Highlands in New Brunswick!

Throughout the reception, I introduced the wedding party, shared important housekeeping information, directed tables to the buffet, and provided background music during dinner. I also played their specially requested songs for the first dance, as well as a meaningful song for the bride and her mother during a special bouquet dedication.

Later in the evening, I announced the cake cutting and helped guide each part of the celebration, ensuring their memorable moments were recognized and captured before opening the dance floor and keeping the music going throughout the evening.

It was an amazing celebration surrounded by family and friends. Thank you for allowing DJ Dave Services to be part of your special day!

🎶 Summer Evening at the Elm Tree Tavern ☀️

DJ Dave Services had a great night providing the music at the Elm Tree Tavern for a summer evening celebration!

It turned out to be a busy night, with a great crowd enjoying the music and atmosphere. Later in the evening, guests from a nearby wedding stopped in after their reception had finished, adding even more energy to the night.

A fun summer evening filled with music, dancing, and good company. Thank you to the Elm Tree Tavern for having me! 🎧
