One of my favourite parts of wedding planning will always be the relationships I build with my couples along the way.

Because planning a wedding is personal. It’s months (in this case 2 years) of conversations, sharing ideas, navigating decisions, and building the kind of trust that allows you to truly enjoy the experience.

The beautiful details are one thing, but knowing the people behind them? That’s what makes it all so meaningful.

Wedding ceremony tip from your favorite Nova Scotia wedding planner ✨

Bonus tip: assign some of your friends as *ushers* to help with this! This helps everything run smoothly and ease any seating jitters for those who don’t dare sit in the closest rows to the front 💁🏼‍♀️

Your rehearsal is for SO much more than figuring out who walks with who 😂

A few things I need you to practice:

BRING A SPEAKER.
Use your actual ceremony music + practice walking to it in real time. You’ll figure out your pace, cues, transitions AND whether your song is actually long enough.

And walk slower than you think you need to. Your photographer will thank you. 😂

NO COORDINATOR? APPOINT A BOSS.
Choose a confident, organized + LOUD friend or family member who isn’t in the wedding party to:

• wrangle your VIPs
• get everyone lined up
• give cues
• keep things moving

You should NOT be yelling “OKAY GRANDMA, YOU’RE NEXT!” at your own wedding. 😂

GIVE YOUR BRIDESMAIDS SOMETHING TO HOLD.
Faux bouquets, water bottles, pens, fans… literally whatever.

It gets them used to walking with something + teaches them where their bouquets should actually sit.

BOUQUETS GO LOW.
My favourite rehearsal instruction:

“Hold your flowers by your lady garden.” 😂🌷

AKA around your belly button — NOT directly under your b***s. We want to see your gorgeous dress + your face in photos!!

PRACTICE THE WEIRD LITTLE TRANSITIONS.

• Who takes your bouquet?
• Who fluffs your train?
• Where does her bouquet go while she does it?
• When do you get yours back?

Tiny details, but awkward AF when nobody knows what they’re supposed to do. 😂

PRACTICE BOTH DIRECTIONS.
Everyone remembers walking down the aisle — practice coming back up too!!

Who goes first? Who pairs up? Where does everyone go afterward?

THE GOAL:
Your ceremony shouldn’t look rehearsed.

Everyone should just know WTF they’re doing so it all feels effortless. 🤍

your veil takes a beating not only from the wind, but also when your guests are congratulating you with hugs during your cocktail hour!

bonus tip: be sure to secure your veil on both sides of the comb with a few large bobby pins too! 🫶🏻

Hi, I’m Felicity 👋🏼

There are quite a few new faces around here lately, and with 2027 + 2028 couples officially in planning mode, it felt like time for a little reintroduction!

I’m the planner + coordinator behind Forevermore, and basically, I think about all the things you would never even know you needed to think about.

How long does dinner actually take? How many people can you really fit at a table? When should speeches happen? How long should cocktail hour be? And how the hell are you supposed to fit everything you want into one day? 😂

You’re not supposed to know all of that. That’s kind of the point of hiring me. 🤍

I’m based near Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and I’ve been known to put some serious kilometres on my car for a good wedding. 😂 I also work with lots of couples planning their Nova Scotia weddings from out of province (and even out of country!), so if you’re planning from a different time zone - you’re in very familiar hands. 🫶🏻

Outside of weddings, I’m currently growing a tiny human, a very proud dog mom, a lover of vintage finds, and the second September hits, anything pumpkin spice, apple cinnamon or maple has my name ALL over it. 🍂

I’m also a Scorpio, so being slightly passionate about the things I care about comes with the territory. And I’m a sucker for a good rom-com — which probably explains why I’m always looking for those little movie moments for my couples. 🎞️🤎✨

I love old-world charm, thoughtful details and really good hospitality - but more than anything, I want your wedding to feel GOOOOD.

Good food. Flowing drinks. Happy guests. And you two actually present enough to enjoy it all.

I’m heading into my final few weddings of 2026 with limited availability for 2027 + 2028, but mostly I just wanted to say hi. I’m Felicity, and I’m so happy you found me. ✨

what am I doing while you’re busy getting MARRIED?

assembling the es**rt card display? yep.

pinning boutonnières because there’s no way I’m letting them look lopsided.

checking in with the bartenders.

making sure the best man knows what he’s doing pre ceremony.

cueing your musicians.

teaching your man how to hold your train because we are NOT dragging that thing through the grass incorrectly on my watch.

and yes… unpacking + placing lamps that casually arrived in someone’s car 30 minutes before cocktail hour. 😭

Wedding day coordination is basically:
“don’t worry about it, I got it” approximately 87 times in one day.

There are soooo many tiny moving pieces happening behind the scenes of a wedding that you should genuinely never have to know about.

And that’s kinda the point. You’re getting married.
