The bookstore is looking for a new bookster! Wanna join the ranks?

Books & Company is looking for a full-time career bookster to join their team.

The position will be full time and permanent, working mostly daytime hours Monday to Friday. However, we do try to adapt our schedule to best fit our team’s needs, so weekend hours may be required in the future.

The ideal applicant will have retail experience, with a high command of the English language, ample computer skills, a keen detective’s mind, and be at least a little weird. (Sherlock, we’re waiting for you. Hit us up!)

Job duties and responsibilities will include providing the highest quality of customer service, making hundreds of amiable phone calls, maintaining & maybe improving our store & inventory (why yes, I DO think a life-size toy giraffe would look great in the kid’s section), and most importantly, identifying & hunting down books with as little information as “I think the cover was blue”.

We are looking for a friendly weirdo to join the rest of us friendly weirdos. Priority goes to proactive folks who can take on 30 boxes of new books to unpack & process with a grin. We can offer competitive wages, a fun work environment, flexible scheduling & vacation days, and a benefits package.
