Conception Bay South’s first T'Railway Trek Half Marathon had an unexpected runner, Joshua the goat. He spotted the runners going by his home and decided to join in and even received a medal, says Mayor Darrin Bent.

Our 2024 hay season was a rodeo!!!! Thanks to the resourcefulness and handiness of my husband Mike Doucette , the kindness of neighbours Karen Gervais-Vohar (thank you Vince) and perseverance, we somehow made it to and through! Special thanks to Kee Beau for offering the loan of equipment even if in the end we didn’t need it after all.

The new generation of party goats were invited to the Willow River farmers market last Sunday and though I don’t have good pictures of them doing their ‘partying’ (it was rainy), I just want to show how snuggly they are!!! Plus look at the cool eye colours! Thank you Jessica Field for thinking of us!
