Mother Nature is keeping us waiting this year. 🌻

The drought has slowed our sunflower fields, and the blooms are taking their sweet time.

While we can’t circle a date on the calendar just yet, we promise—when the sunflowers finally burst open, it will be worth the wait. Stay tuned, and cross your fingers for a little rain.🌧️

Junie finally hatched her chicks. She has been patiently sitting her nest for what seems like ages. Today these three little heads poked out when I went to check on her. She was in no mood for visitors, however. I don't know much about chickens, but I do know to leave them alone when they growl at you! 😳😂
