VERY Important notification. Please SHARE
Willowbank Upick Farm has delayed our opening date until Friday September 12th. This unprecedented late opening is due to the drought. Based on many years experience the Gravensteins are not ripening on the usual schedule…. See the seeds aren’t brown yet.
We are very particular about the apples our valued customers pick to enjoy.
We look forward to seeing everyone this season, we have been very busy since last Fall… our regular customers will notice many changes.
Sorry for the delay, but it is the correct decision.

Thinking of the professional and volunteer firefighters dealing with the Long Lake Fire in East Dalhousie Annapolis County… some 100 + kms away from Willowbank Farm in Port Williams. The steady wind shift is pushingthe smoke across the Valley to Blomidon. The firefighters and residents are dealing with something we can’t even begin to fully comprehend. Thinking of all the families affected!

A FUN - indoor / outdoor activity on a cold day. My sister Margaret made these natural pieces of frozen art!
Rather than throwing away her wilting tulips she simply made a design in a shallow pan, filled with water and put them
Outside. You can use almost anything!

Final Day for the 2024 season wraps up with Willowbank U-Pick Farm supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters SPOOKTACULAR. Apple Upick closes at 3pm for preparation and then we reopen at 4:30 will all our regular activities and then a Spooky Corn Maze that gets scarier as the night goes on. Fireworks FX at 9pm to finish off the night. Bon Fire, BBQ and lots more. See Separate post for more details. Here are some pictures from previous years. Fun for all ages.
