PAID BACKGROUND CASTING CALL | PICTOU, NS
A feature film is shooting in Pictou this September and October, and the production is looking for local people who might be interested in doing some paid background work.
The film is called The Apology Tour, a comedy/drama filming in Pictou from September 14 to October 6, 2026.
Rate: $20/hour, with a 4-hour minimum.
No previous acting experience is needed.

Gas Station Patrons — 18+, all genders
Passersby — 18+, all genders
SEPT. 17
Passersby — 18+, all genders
Unhoused Person — 18+, all genders
This role would be part of an encampment scene.
SEPT. 23
Kids & Family — Children with parents/guardians, all genders
This scene takes place at a playground.
SEPT. 30
Babysitter — Female, age 16–20
OCT. 1
Passersby — 18+, all genders
Driver With Vehicle — 18+, all genders
You will need access to your own vehicle for this role.
