A few common questions we get on venue tours:

 “Who typically stays at the venue?” & “Where does the getting ready take place?” 

— honestly, the answer depends entirely on your vibe as a couple!

With four beautifully appointed boutique Suites included in the rental of the venue, you’ve got space for up to 8 overnight guests right upstairs in the mansion. How you fill those rooms is totally up to you. Sometimes it’s the couple themselves soaking up a slow morning together, sometimes it’s parents & immediate family. More often than not, it’s the wedding parties (or just the girls!) the night before — so hair & makeup can kick off bright and early ☀️

What unfolds the morning of the wedding is this beautifully orchestrated chaos: curling irons humming, champagne flutes clinking, giggles echoing down the staircase. The entire upper floor becomes this buzzing little world of love, anticipation, and celebration — while down below, the mansion is being transformed right before your eyes. 

There’s something so special about watching the ceremony chairs being placed from the upper balcony while sipping coffee in a robe, or catching a glimpse of your guests arriving through the grand second-story heritage windows as they gather for welcome drinks. It’s this surreal, cinematic moment — where time both stands still and yet, moves a mile a minute 🎞️🌿

It’s grandeur. It’s grace. It’s the kind of experience that truly kicks off the wedding day like nothing else.

What happens after the vows, speeches & sunset clinking of glasses? When dinner under the Wilde Garden tent starts to wind down, the real ones know that the fun is only just beginning —

At 11:00 PM we mooooove the celebration indoors  — one minute you’re dancing under the stars, the next you’re stepping into something sultry, stylish, vibey & totally made for ‘after hours’.

The Odyssey Ballroom is fit for moody lighting, exceptional acoustics, and the freedom to transform the space however you want it. Bring in plush soft seating for a low-lit lounge vibe, or turn it into a disco fever dream with tinsel & lights — the room is a blank canvas just waiting for some late-night energy.

Some of our favourite moments have happened well after the formalities are done — barefoot dancing, surprise karaoke & spontaneous speeches.

Your MIL might kick off her shoes and hit the dance floor to ABBA & best friends belt out throwbacks. Everyone ends the night a little tipsy and a lot in love. It’s messy, beautiful & real — these are the midnight hours people remember. The ballroom chapter is where everything softens and stretches out.

Don’t have a vision yet? Or just not sure where to start? Totally okay. Some of our past couples have gone all in on The Odyssey with show-stopping lighting and lounge rentals, while others have chosen to focus their budget elsewhere and use the ballroom as a chill, candlelit spot for late-night hangs. Either way, it truly works. We’ve seen it — and we have a handful of tried-and-true floorplans and layouts to share if you’re needing a little spark ⚡️

We’re in the home stretch, gearing up for our last wedding of the 2024 season this weekend—unless someone’s dreaming of a cozy holiday elopement! ✨🌲 As we put the final touches on A & T’s big day, it’s bittersweet to wrap up a season so full of love.

The whirlwind of laughter, tears, first dances, and unforgettable moments has been so so fun to witness, and we’ve loved every single second spent with our couples & their families. From watching the smallest details come together to seeing those ‘you had to be there’ moments unfold—this is why we do what we do 🤍

As we head into the quieter season, we’re beyond excited for what’s to come. Winter brings us the time to dive deeper into planning for our 2025 couples, cherishing every moment of a slower, more hands-on experience with our Suite guests (and maybe, just maybe, finding time for that elusive day off we’ve been dreaming of!). We’ll also be reminiscing—because let’s be honest, we’re still thinking about all those teary vows and late-night toasts over one too many glasses of ‘s Cab Franc 🍷

But first, we’ve got one more celebration to prep for! You’ll find us this week moving tables, rearranging decor, and blowing leaves off the front walkway — all to get everything just right for A & T. It’s going to be a REAL good party, and we can’t wait to send this season off with a bang! 🥂💃

We just received the sweetest inquiry for a small, intimate May getaway for Spring 2025 — the bride, groom, both sets of parents, and two close friends. Just the perfect group to share in allllll the special moments. Their plan? To escape the city, spend a few days unwinding in the mansion, and elope in the most peaceful setting. Smooth, calm, easy… & yet elevated & pampered ✨

As soon as we read the inquiry, we knew exactly what to pull from— this past June, Caspar & Verushka did EXACTLY this. They gave us the ultimate blueprint for a perfect Prince Edward County escape. Three of the most serene days, from dining at PEC’s finest restaurants, indulging with a private chef, and a heartfelt intimate ceremony, to wrapping it all up with a oh-so deserved spa day. Absolute paradise. 🌿

It’s as if captured the wedding of our DREAMS ☁️✨

This day is engraved into our core memories. As a venue, one of our most frequently asked questions we receive is, “What happens if it rains?” — it’s right up there with, “What time does the bar close?” 😉

Ari & Matt’s wedding last August answered that perfectly when the skies opened up and poured down the most beautiful summer rain, turning their day into a story that is one of our absolute favorites.

The rain added a magical touch, creating a perfect mix of orchestrated harmony that made the entire day even more enchanting. Despite the weather, the flow of the day was entirely seamless, thanks to the most incredible vendors we know and love. Their dedication and talent brought true wedding day magic to life, ensuring every moment was picture-perfect 🤍

A vision of beauty and grace. Radiance & joy lit up every room she entered — Madi & David’s Wedding on the 11th of May was exactly what we needed to kick-start the season. Heartfelt toasts from David’s iconic sister duo, uniformed laughter, and just a palpable sense of togetherness - all weekend long. 

The ambiance was sophisticated yet warm, trendy but timeless. Every detail, from the stunning floral arrangements by to ‘s incredible cuisine, was executed flawlessly. Their Vendors played a huge part in what truly made the weekend magical.
