Video proof that less is more —

On a Thursday afternoon, Romina & Farhan gathered 33 of their favourite people and slipped into a celebration that felt less like an event and more like a loooooong exhale. The gardens hummed softly with conversation, warm breezes moved through the trees, and the hours unfolded with an ease that felt distinctly Prince Edward County.

No rush or rigid timeline to chase, just the simple rhythm of being together. Heartfelt tears gave way to easy laughter. Glasses clinked. Hands found one another across tables. Guests wandered the terrace between courses, lingering in pockets of shade and sunshine alike. Every moment seemed to arrive exactly when it was meant to.

For all its intimacy, there was something undeniably captivating about the day. From Main Street, the mansion stood framed by abundant blooms and early summer gardens, offering only a glimpse of the celebration tucked behind the stone wall (& newly installed Johnson Street planters!). Passersby slowed as they walked by, stealing curious looks toward the laughter drifting across the lawn.

A wedding for 33. Proof that grandeur isn’t measured by guest count, but by feeling.

By the warmth in a room. The depth of a conversation. The applause that follows a heartfelt speech. The stolen kiss when no one, or everyone, is looking.

Romina & Farhan’s Wedding was true proof that sometimes the most memorable celebrations are the ones that leave space for life to unfold naturally—unhurried, joyful, and entirely their own.

In the event of a soft summer rain, lean in 🤍🌦️

The gardens full, the terrace buzzing, and cocktail hour exactly as it should be — glasses clinking, laughter drifting through the air, sunlight soft on the edges of everything.

And then, just as the afternoon settled into its rhythm, a gentle summer rain arrived. For a moment, there was that familiar pause in the air… and then, no one rushed. No one scattered. Clear umbrellas appeared like they had been waiting for their cue all along. Spicy Marg’s stayed in hand, conversation didn’t break, and rather than retreating from the rain, the celebration leaned into it.

Guests swayed through the garden and terrace under a canopy of transparent umbrellas, where the soft rain caught the late afternoon light and turned everything into something cinematic. Laughter rose through the drizzle. Dresses moved through the wet garden paths. Friends found each other again between raindrops.

And there it was — 200 little umbrellas, gently bobbing and weaving through the grounds, drifting between the mansion and the garden like a living, moving portrait. A quiet kind of magic that cannot be staged or planned for, only received.

It is rare in this work to witness a moment that feels so suspended in time, so effortlessly whole. But this was one of them. A&A’s day didn’t need to be saved from the rain — it was made more beautiful by it.

This weekend was genuinely picture perfect — the kind of day that feels like it was gently planned by the universe and then somehow made even better in real time?!

long weekend lovin on Main Street, Picton 🤍

May long weekend is naturally the kick-off to summer, but this one felt like summer had already arrived.

From the moment the weekend began, there was this warmth that just settled over everything — and it wasn’t just the sunshine. It was Nicole & Harry, and their tangible energy. The kind of warmth & joy that’s contagious in the best way, even Mother Nature seemed to lean into it 🌤️

The ceremony unfolded with such calm intention, and right as the vows settled into the air, the day gently shifted with it — cocktails moved indoors as a soft spring rain started to fall over the front lawn. Instead of taking anything away, it somehow added to it. Everything just slowed in the most beautiful way.

Dinner followed in Joplin Hall, and it was one of those evenings where laughter never quite stays in one place. It spilled out into the hallways, echoed through open doors, and followed guests wherever they wandered. There was this constant hum of connection — relaxed, unforced, and so full of life.

While everyone lingered over dinner and conversation, the room was quietly transformed, resetting for what was still to come — and then the night opened up.

Music by kicked in, the energy shifted, and the dance floor did exactly what it was meant to do — bring everyone together in the most joyful, unfiltered way. No hesitation, just a room full of people fully in it.

A soft start to summer, and a perfect long weekend in Prince Edward County. Thank you, Nicole & Harry, for sharing your love & your laughter. This was so fun.

It alllllll started here… quite literally 🤍

Our first wedding of the 2026 spread, and somehow it already feels like the bar has been set impossibly high. This past weekend was plucked straight from our dreams — the kind of weekend you wish you could bottle up and relive over and over again. From an absolutely incredible lineup of vendors who brought every detail to life so seamlessly, to our amazing bar team back where they belong behind the counter, to R & S and their people who filled the mansion with so much love, laughter, and energy ✨

There’s something about that first wedding of the season — the anticipation, the excitement, the return of all the little rhythms we’ve missed over the winter months. And every single year, we’re reminded why we love starting things off with an intimate Micro-Wedding. It’s personal, it’s intentional, it’s full of heart… and it sets the tone for everything that follows in the most beautiful way.

The kind of weekend that reminds us exactly why we do what we do, and how lucky we are to witness these stories unfold within these walls 🤍

R & S — thank you for trusting us with such a special chapter. It was an absolute joy to celebrate alongside you, your families, and your friends. Safe to say… this one will go down in mansion history.

When it’s not wedding season, it’s venue tour season… and when it is wedding season, we just have to adjust our approach a little ✨

Over the last few months, we’ve had an absolute blast spending our Saturdays touring with so many of you — it’s been such a joy getting to know you, sharing the space, and helping fill our calendar for next season & beyond 🤍

While we know touring the venue is such an important part of your planning process, if you’ve met us you also know we place the highest priority on protecting the privacy and exclusivity of our wedding couples while they’re celebrating with their nearest and dearest on-site.

Because of that, we are no longer able to offer venue tours on weekends until further notice.

If you’d like, we’re always happy to hop on a FaceTime call and walk you through the space, or if you’re able to sneak away on a weekday, we’d absolutely love to host you in person — weekday visits are honestly the ultimate PEC planning hack during busy season 😉🏖️

This approach allows us to be fully present with our couples on their wedding weekends, while still giving future couples a thoughtful, intentional experience when they come to tour.

There’s something truly special about gathering in Prince Edward County — it invites you to slow down, to be present, and to celebrate surrounded by the people who matter most. It’s not just a destination, it’s a feeling.

There’s a certain magic here, an almost indescribable tranquility. The gentle rustling of leaves overhead, the soft chittering of Picton’s wildlife in the distance, and the fresh ‘County’ air all blend together to create an atmosphere that feels worlds away from the ordinary. The Wilde Garden captures the essence of the most fabulous garden party, infused with that signature Prince Edward County je ne sais quoi — a blend of charm, ease, and undeniable beauty.

The question we hear most often: “What’s it like being so close to the street?” And while you might not believe it, the moment you step off of Main Street, the outside world simply melts away. Nestled amidst layers of vibrant greenery, The Wilde Garden is a hidden oasis — offering a sense of seclusion that makes it feel like your own private escape.

There are a plethora of reasons why this wedding is making its way to our main today ✨🌸

Might it be that we just secured our last remaining Summer 2027 fuuullll July weekend? Yes.
 Might it be because just booked her third wedding with us here next year (!!!)? Also yes.
 Might it be because it’s finally starting to feel like Spring here in Prince Edward County—and this was one of the most iconic colour palettes we’ve ever seen come to life at the mansion? Absolutely.

But more than anything, this weekend was one of those downright easy, joy-filled, oh-so-summer celebrations. The kind that feels effortless in the best way. The kind that sneaks up on you later and has you completely engulfed in reminiscing the summer of twenty-five ✨💭🌙
