My husband and I recently got married this past December and had the privilege of working with Devon John from My Wedding Officiant.
From the consultation meeting to our rehearsal, Devon was an absolute joy to work with. He made us feel very comfortable and at ease with the whole process. Devon is special as he works to incorporate your personal love story in to the ceremony in unique ways.
It was important for us to acknowledge my husband’s late mother but do so in a celebratory way. Devon was able to do this for us in a respectful and meaningful way. The ceremony reflected our love well— deep, meaningful, and with a touch of humour.

Your officiant must pronounce you married for the marriage to be legally recognized. Without that declaration, even if vows and rings are exchanged, the ceremony isn’t technically complete.

On the flip-side, once the officiant pronounces you married, you are legally married, even if you haven’t signed the legal documents yet.
