Thank you dearest Karene (my new neighbour friend!) for hiring me to be part of your beautiful birthday celebration!💛

This paint night party was one to bring the winter blues down and bring the heat up!🔥😎 LOVE the painting that she chose because it was SO nice to paint a sunny and warm ocean scene in the middle of this snowy February!💖

This group of ladies were absolutely wonderful and warm in personality as well! And it was a real pleasure to lead them on a sunny journey!

My paint nights are not necessarily about coming out of them with a perfect replica of the sample painting, but more of an encouragement process to believe in your own creativity and be proud of what you are capable of doing on your own, in your own unique way!😘❤️🧡💛
Goodness, I missed paint nights SO MUCH! This just reignited my flame for them and putting paint down with passion in my heart!!🎨🖌️❤️‍🔥

Williamsburg public school invited me back for another painting session at their 'Art Night' event last Wednesday, and I am SO grateful!💓

Such a lovely crowd that I had the absolute privilege to spend that time with!

There were some familiar faces from last year, which made my heart soar!💕And there were some new ones that made me smile big!🥰

The themed painting was a butterfly on a flower... ushering in the season we've all been waiting for!💛

Thank you to all of the kind-hearted folks who showed up for the class and gave it their all!
And a huge thank you to Williamsburg public school faculty for considering me once again, and allowing me to be part of your Art Night fun!😘

And a special Thank you to the two lovely young ladies with their incredibly efficient and helpful set up, Ruhi and Tharshika!

And my final thanks to Trish Johnson for your thoughtfulness in reaching out to me to do this again and for your friendship! I appreciate you more than you know!💓😘

We even added ✨️a little glitter✨️ to our painting this time!😉 I try to go that extra Mile each and every time!

In-person paint party workshop #1!

Lastnight I hosted one of the first of what will hopefully be quite a few more in-person paint party workshops...👩‍🎨🎨🖌

I have limited space, but for those Facebook friends who are in the area and might be interested in attending an upcoming paint party workshop (or if you want to book a paint party with me) personally message me and I will do my best to make it happen for you! 💓

Why did I call it a workshop?

Well, I staged and ran through the steps of a paint party in the convenience of my own home, leading the guests along with me, with a painting that I chose.
Technically, I have been doing this online as well for our neighborhood friends, over the course of the Pandemic and post Pandemic, as a means to keep socially connected!

I then walked through the steps of a paint party and the set up of the supplies, etc.

I also priced it a bit differently, just covering the material costs, as the idea is to have the guests understand how a paint party that I facilitate works, in the hopes to have them network my business to others who might be interested or to possibly be inspired to host one in their own home/social club/event!🥰

So, we not only created a painting but the social interaction was a reminder of how nice it was to be in person again! 💕
Which is something we all emotionally, mentally and physically benefit from!💓

Although, online paint parties are also beneficial for reasons of convenience and practicality, and can be done from the comfort of your own home, they are definitely appreciated in a different way than in-person paint parties!

I had another BEAUTIFUL experience leading a paint party for my friend, Sangita this past weekend!🎨🖌

She surprised her friend who was celebrating a milestone birthday with a paint party!

These women shared a get-away in years past to Ireland together and when Sangita asked if I could come up with a painting for them to do, from one of their trip pictures, I didn't hesitate and we chose a perfect one!💓👌

As they were painting the picture they were reminiscing about that day they were visiting the Giants Causeway and I could see how much more this brought them all back together, honoring their friendships with each other!

Bring on the holiday parties and festive cheer!🎄🎁🥂🥳

A friend of mine recently hired me to facilitate a paint party to create Christmas cards!

So, naturally, I took on the new opportunity and led her neighbor friends and their kids to creative bliss!💖

*Although I borrowed the ideas from Pinterest, I respectfully acknowledge the creativity and ideas from all contributers on that app! 🙏✨️ They are not my own original creations, and I am honestly recognizing that fact!*

I found ideas that were cute, useful, and fairly easy to do for all ages!
I then planned out how to do them, step-by-step on appropriately sized pieces of art paper! We then craft-taped them to quality paper cards and signed the back!

What a fun activity and practical way to show painting techniques! 🖌🎨

Consider the Christmas/ holiday card painting idea when you hire me for your event, party, or next get-together! 🥰

It's always paint party season!👩‍🎨💖

I had the experience of leading a group of wonderfully lovely ladies at a paint party on the grounds of a golf course in Courtice yesterday!

What a great idea, celebrating their friend's bachelorette party together with a paint night!

The fresh air and perfect conditions on the beautiful tree-lined course were perfect for the masterpieces they created together! 💓🌠

Here are a few of the canvas paintings I have samples of, from the paint parties I've hosted or organized.

My summer is pretty booked, (although you can always inquire) but if you might be looking for something to do for an event or with friends/family/coworkers for the coming Fall season, consider giving me a try to host a paint party for you!

I can be available in person or over an online platform, such as Microsoft Teams, with paint kits mailed out or hand distributed.

When I offer a paint night, I provide everything possible that's needed.✔️ You just provide the place, time and company!

And we create not just a painting together but a guided, relaxed, positive-minded and uplifting experience that I guarantee you will walk away from, feeling happier than when you sat down to paint; more confident about your ability to create something; and more relaxed about the present moment in general!💓🥰

So, you don't just get to experience a paint night, you also get to be part of a beautiful self-soothing activity!💕🎨🖌

Paint night @ Williamsburg P.S. yesterday!💓

Thank you Trish Johnson for one of the coolest paintnight events I've had the most fortunate opportunity to lead!

Trish and her school put on an Art night for their school community, and I was asked to lead one of the activities, to instruct a painting!

Well, it went very well, and at 24 people participating, you never know how the crowd will be, but I was so fortunate to have such a great group of kids and their parents and family members!

After we were finished the painting, I was quite touched to hear one of the participating moms tell me that she appreciated how I walked them through it, calmly and positively, which helped take her mind off work and it was just what she needed!💓

As well, an older woman, I think she was a grandmother, came up to me quietly and with a smile that could light up a room! She shyly showed me her painting, which was absolutely beautiful, done uniquely in her own way! She told me with her eyes how much she appreciated that experience!💓

And then a young boy politely let me know that he has only ever painted a picture once before in his life and he really enjoyed doing this one! The smile on his face was all I needed to see to understand!💓

That's why I love being a paint party instructor!
It means everything to me to be able to help people find happiness in their hearts!
It's mostly about having a positive experience, above just painting a picture!
Hence the name, I kept for my paint party business, Jen's Art With Heart!🥰😘🩷
