There are songs people dance to…

And then there are songs people BELT OUT at the top of their lungs. 😂

As soon as that “I’ll beeeee goooone…” hits, I already know what’s coming next. The best part? Turning the volume down and hearing the entire room take over.

Those are the moments that make this job so much fun.

These two decided they were going to recreate the iconic Dirty Dancing lift in the middle of prom.

The crowd noticed.

The crowd gathered.

The crowd started cheering.

For one brief moment, they were absolutely the main characters.

And then...

Well... you’ll see. 😂

But honestly, that’s why I love proms.

Not because everything goes perfectly. Not because every dance move is flawless. Not because every photo is Instagram-worthy.

It’s because teenagers are willing to throw caution to the wind, try something ridiculous, and create a memory they’ll be laughing about for years.

The best part? The entire room was cheering them on before they even attempted it.

No judgment. No phones in their faces. Just a room full of people hoping they pull it off.

They may not have nailed the landing, but they absolutely won the moment. ❤️

10/10 for confidence.
10/10 for commitment.
10/10 prom memory.
