✨Introducing Neena✨

We are so excited to be introducing Neena to you as Sweet Fern’s Lead Wedding Specialist and Floral Designer!
Neena adds so much to our team: with a depth of flower and event experience, kindness, and entrepreneurial spirit - we are excited to grow with her.

A little bit more from Neena:

I’m Neena - founder of the award-winning Wallflower by Neena (formerly Wallflower Events and Designs) and now proudly stepping into the role of Lead Wedding Specialist at Sweet Fern Floral Studio here in Peterborough.

After 7 incredible years of building Wallflower from the ground up, this next chapter feels both natural and exciting. I’m so thrilled to be joining forces with Ang and Jen at Sweet Fern - a studio I’ve long admired for its creativity, quality, and heart. Collaborating with such a talented team allows me to fully lean into what I love most: designing beautiful, intentional florals for both weddings and day-to-day design.

My background is rooted in both planning and design. I’m triple certified in Wedding & Event Planning, Professional Floral Design, and Event Décor, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work on everything from intimate celebrations to large-scale events, teach floral design workshops, and collaborate with other boutique studios throughout the Peterborough area. Every experience has shaped my approach - thoughtful, detail-driven, and always centered around creating something that feels personal and meaningful.

While Wallflower will continue in a more limited capacity for select planning and coordination clients, all floral work will now be created under the Sweet Fern umbrella. This shift allows me to focus entirely on my true passion - bringing wedding visions to life through flowers.

I was born and raised in Peterborough and come from a long line of entrepreneurs, so building relationships and creating meaningful experiences for my clients has always been at the core of what I do. I truly believe that the smallest details make the biggest impact, and I bring that mindset into every wedding I’m a part of.

I couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter and to create something truly special with you.

✨Happy International Women’s Day✨

Sweet Fern Floral is proud to be a woman-owned and women-run small business, and on Saturday, we’re celebrating the incredible women who make our community so strong, kind, and inspiring.

To celebrate, we’re sharing a little floral joy!
✨The first 12 women who stop by the studio on Saturday, March 7th will receive a free mini bundle of Ontario grown, double tulips.
We open at 10am
✨We’ll have small double tulip bundles for $5 — perfect for gifting to the wonderful women in your life.
✨Mini daffodil bulb plants will be $8 to bring a little spring home.

What a year. What a season. We cannot thank you enough for loving flowers as much as us - for your support, encouragement, and friendships. We honestly, repeatedly say “we have the absolute BEST customers”. We deeply appreciate you and have enjoyed getting to know you over this year.

We’re long overdue on a Sweet Fern team introduction - more about this will come in the new year - and I want you to get to know Jen, Neena, Tily and our volunteer (hardest worker) Corry. This team has been committed to excellence and beauty and I couldn’t be more grateful to have each of them by my side. We’re SO excited to see where 2026 brings us. ✨✨✨

Being at 387 Water Street has given us the most beautiful neighbourhood, opened our doors to more customers and friends, and we’ve grown in staff members and customers (which brings us the most joy)!
