The Red Thread: A pregnancy-centred circle for all stages of motherhood
A sacred gathering for women who are walking, or feeling called to walk, the path of motherhood.

This circle is for you if you are trying to conceive, are currently pregnant, are in the postpartum season, or have walked the mothering journey for years. It’s also open to maidens who feel the pull to witness and learn about the sacredness of this rite of passage.

Together, we’ll gather in sisterhood to share stories, wisdom, and connection. The evening will include:

✨ Spirit baby meditation
✨ Heart-listening with a fetoscope
✨ Mama-to-mama massage exchange
✨ Storytelling
✨ Reflective journaling/creating
✨ Nourishing tea and grounding presence

This is a space to be held, to listen, to feel, and to remember that you are not alone. You are part of a lineage, a red thread, that connects all who birth, nurture, and carry life.

Come as you are. Bring your belly, your longing, your baby, your wisdom.

We are thrilled to welcome Scott Perrie to this Friday’s Beans and Beats event! 🎶

Scott Perrie is a one man band; utilizing a loop pedal, harmonica, and his versatile voice, he plays all of his favourite songs by artists like Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Neil Young, James Taylor and so many many more!

Scott Perrie is a seasoned musician, singer/songwriter, and guitarist who has spent the last 20 years carving his own path. He has released multiple albums with different music projects over the years, most recently with Winsome Kind, a folk duo based with his talented wife Leora Joy. Winsome Kind was nominated for a Sask Music Award for Inspirational Artist of the Year 2025 and recently won two EmPower Positive Music Awards for their song “Trail of Love’ and music video “Frequency.”

Scott grew up on the West Coast in the lower mainland, and spent decades performing in the Vancouver scene. He started singing when he was 9 and after inheriting his Grandpa’s Gibson J45 acoustic guitar, he started busking on Granville Island as a teenager. Later on he joined two premiere cover bands (Famous Players & Side One), and then worked as a solo artist for hundreds of weddings, and special events. Scott has been teaching private guitar lessons and practicing massage/bodywork in Alameda, where he and Leora are raising their 3 beautiful kids and growing a big garden.

See you this Friday at 3 PM!! 🎶☕️
