At Always, I carry two samples of every gown (one plus size and one straight size), because every BODY deserves the full try-on experience. Shocking, right? ✨

I work exclusively with Canadian designers, including a talented one right here in Ottawa, and we can do customizations on pretty much anything… yes, even black wedding dresses 🖤

And yes, I have spacious, fully private fitting rooms, because finding your dress should feel comfortable and actually enjoyable.

Let’s take a moment to talk about bridal sample sizes. 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions about wedding dress shopping is that the sample gown is supposed to fit perfectly. It’s not!

Most bridal boutiques carry one sample of each dress for brides to try on. If you fall in love with a gown, we’ll take your measurements and order it in your size.

At Always, we carry two samples of every dress—a straight-size sample (typically sizes 8–12) and a plus-size sample (typically sizes 18–24). We want as many brides as possible to have a great try-on experience.

Even with two samples, though, the dress you’re trying on probably won’t fit perfectly, and that’s completely normal. We have plenty of tricks to help you visualize how your gown will look on your wedding day, including clips, straps, and styling adjustments.

So when you come dress shopping, PLEASE don’t stress about the sample size. Focus on how the dress makes you feel, not whether it fits perfectly off the rack.

We also offer split sizing on many gowns, meaning we can often order the bodice and skirt in different sizes to create the best possible fit for your body.
