YCreations Photography, located in Ottawa, offers photographic services such as portraits, maternity, and newborn pictures by Yahdai Brown. Inspired by my father who is a professional photographer, my interest was sparked at 8 years old during a family trip to the Central Experimental Farm. When I looked through the view finder I was surprised to notice all the mirrors within the camera! Later, wh

en I asked my father how a camera worked, I was amazed. From that moment, I started to see the world differently,through the lens of a camera, finding new and exciting angles and perspectives. Today, many years later, with the encouraging support of my loving husband, family and friends I finally started this page and company YCreations Photography and look forward to capturing

Very busy week but here are my pictures from the Solar Eclipse on April 8th at the Thousand Islands National park visitor's center in Mallorytown landing.
Could not have asked for a better spot. Kids were able to play at the park. Have a picnic play a few card games and explore the area while we waited for totality. We were very lucky we got the opportunity.

One day is not enough to see all of what Montreal offers and as much as we tried my cousin will definitely have to come back for round 2 of a "speed run" of Montreal and the friendly photo competition we had between us. Speaking of which, I just couldn't resist getting him to try a maple leaf lollipop Just so I can take a picture of him with it. Hats off to our friend Kevin for being our resident tour Guide for the day with out him i wouldn't of known about the Jean Talon Market. Thinking back to such a beautiful day it was a few weeks ago. I was admiring spring over at Haron station while I waited for my bus to get to a chiropractic appointment.
No matter how good or bad your day is remember to take a moment to look around to see nature's beauty. It may even surprise you how often in our busy city lives we miss out on such beauty but it will always be there waiting to be seen.
