When it comes to your details, are you team flatlay or team “capture it in action”?
Me? The answer is absolutely both!
I love styling a flatlay that shows off every carefully chosen piece - the rings, the invites, heirlooms, the little touches that tell your story. I think we can all agree that just based off the images in this post, everyone has their own unique style and they’re all worth cherishing.
These details aren’t just *things.* They’re the reflection of your style, your personalities and the time you’ve invested into bringing your vision to life.
Capturing the details woven into the natural moments of the day are also a given - your shoes hitting the floor as you get ready, your veil floating as it’s placed, your sweet girl’s hair bow while she watches her heroes set an example of what love is in front of all their friends and family - I want to capture it all!
Though sometimes, in the whirlwind of a wedding morning, there isn’t always time to do both. In case you didn’t know, something I’ve introduced this year is collecting all your details in advance, a week or two before your wedding day, and creating flat lays on my own time, undistracted and not in a hurry.
