✨ Sonic Springs made me feel SEEN ✨
This festival was more than just a DJ gig.
It gave me back a missing piece of myself. After years of working under poor management in various jobs, I finally had the chance to step up as Lead Logistics and lead the way I’ve always known I could. My approach to problem-solving, delegation, and team-building wasn’t just tolerated — it was embraced. S/O my logistics team fr. Put a bunch of solution oriented people together with egos aside and watch s**t get done like magic! 🪄
From supporting the owners’ vision, coordinating with the Green Team, setting up pathway lighting, keeping nearly 20 generators alive (literally powering the festival!), refilling water stations, helping with harm reduction, pulling an SOS and evacuating the campground during a storm, and all those other little logistics to keep a festival flowing efficiently — every moment behind the scenes felt purposeful and unforgettable. ❤️
⚡Other highlights:
- Opening the Beach Stage on the system and meeting that incredible crew
- Meeting sweet new neighbours who set up in my campsite while I was away
- Building the fest before gates open
- Eventually becoming the go-to person for most questions
- Riding the ATV around getting s**t done
- Solidifying newer friendships 🫶🏻
- How tight all the workers are at this fest and it legitimately felt like a home
- The organic crew meals made by Mustafa
- The amazing girls working Info Booth
- The LOVE 💖

🌊✨ Sonic Springs reminded me that I don’t have to make myself smaller for spaces that can’t hold me. The right places will see me, celebrate me, and want everything I bring — and this one did.
