Toddler Tie Dye. I wanted to do Halloween colours, she wanted pink and purple... So naturally we did pink and purple.

We also dyed a onesie for the baby in purple, green and orange. And a sweatshirt using the left over colours from the kids' shirts. It's a bit of an experiment stop we'll see how it turns out tomorrow!

I'm so eager to get my dye in the mail! I just washed and folded the shirts I have to dye and I'm just itching to get going!

I'm going to try a technique called "Spider Tie Dye" as well as hopefully making a fall pumpkin shirt (I'm going back and worth in adding a Jack-o'-lantern face). I am also toying with maybe a black cat design? I'm really eager to get going!

Are there any designs or colour combos you're interested in seeing?

I don't know why she made this face but it was the best picture we got. I tried something new with this. It started as a thrifted black dress and I wanted to try reverse tie dyeing. I stuck it in bleachy water and then forgot about it and brought the kids to the park for awhile. I assumed it was ruined after being in bleach for 2 hours but when we got back it was barely different, just looked a bit dingy. I threw it in some left over purple dye for awhile and this is what we got! It's not what I pictured but it's pretty cool and Violet is really happy with it!

I definitely need to fool around with reverse tie dyeing more to find the shirts that bleach the best.
