BBQ didn't happen at the Capital BBQ Festival again this year, but that doesn't mean it can't happen for you! Pete & Gus Meat Market has been providing us with amazing meats for the 21 years I have been living in Barrhaven. Drop in by and see what they have for you! From their California Roasts to Ribs to homemade lasagna, they have it all. Please support local and visit Peter and Bonnie (Gus).

Folks, I'm afraid we have to postpone for another year. COVID is still is a big factor, but the biggest reason is that an event likes this needs financial support from the community. The same community that is also struggling with COVID and that uncertainty. There is no way that I can, in good conscience, ask these small businesses to support an event like this.

So, while we had a great swell of support and interest, we are going to look forward to 2022 and see what it brings us.

Well, even though the Festival didnt happen this year, you can still take part in the excitement of Competition BBQ!

An event of this size tends to attract some BIG names, and 2020 is sure [proving that. We are very fortunate to see the return of this well-known team. Canadian National Champions, and multiple time Provincial Champions, and the winningest team in Canadian competition BBQ history!

The iconic Prairie Smoke & Spice BBQ led by Rob Reinhardt, Jacy Reinhardt and their delightful daughter Delaney are coming back to Ottawa from Regina, Saskatchewan, and we are so proud to host them!!

For a couple of years now, this happy family from Lavaltrie Quebec has been destroying teams in the Backyard BBQ scene and Kids Q cooks! This year, they are stepping up to KCBS! Cyclone BBQ is coming to The Big Leagues this year! Patrick Hayeur and his lovely wife Josée Gaboriault will be cookign their first ever 4 meat competition, while talented and killer daughters Elodie and Charolotte will be letting it rip for the Lunetterie Newlook Eyewear Kids Q Contest!!
