Say hello to Krynn 👋.
🇨🇦 Krynn grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and called it home until she was 19, when she decided to make the move to Ottawa to study Hospitality and Business Marketing at Algonquin College. At the time, she had her sights set on a career in advertising, but life had other plans. She found herself in medical sales, which unexpectedly opened the door to travel throughout Latin America. That experience sparked a passion for travel and exploring local food cultures, becoming a core part of her identity.
🤝 Krynn has been with the Rogers Centre Ottawa since November 2022 and loves being part of a supportive team that encourages growth. She enjoy’s the variety in her role, especially contributing to impactful events and proudly representing Ottawa on both local and global stages.
🍷 Raised by artistic parents, creativity has always been part of her life. Though she chose a business career, she still expresses that creativity through photography, fashion, and food. She is WSET Level 2 certified, with a growing passion for winemaking — and a dream of one day opening a winery in the South of France.
🌟 One of the highlights of her career so far has been volunteering with Meeting Professionals International on the Marketing Committee for their Annual Charity Auction & Dinner. This year, they hit a new record raising money for four local charities, which she says was an amazing feeling. She shared that it’s always great to lend a helping hand, but knowing they made a real impact is what means the most.
