Metcalfe Music Entertainment Metcalfe Music Entertainment is a full service entertainment company booking performers who perform cover songs and/or original music. to 6:00 P.M.

Our entertainment roster includes single artists, duos, trios, and various size bands right up to full 18 piece orchestras to satisfy all of your entertainment needs. We have a full spectrum of performers in the Rock, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Celtic, Folk, Latin, Country and Christmas flavoured genres with music from the 40’s up to the current day. We have OOMPAH bands for OktoberFest and performers who

do Christmas shows just to get you in the holiday spirit. We feature a fine selection of Tribute Artists and Bands, Corporate Show & Wedding Bands, Look-A-Like impersonators, children's performers, various styles of dancers from Step Dancers to Belly Dancers and stand-up comedians. If your event is suited more to top quality DJ, VJ or Karaoke services, we can provide trained and professional spinners to play high quality pre-recorded music for that special event. We can provide Santa, Christmas carolers, dance troupes, comedians, magicians, jugglers, unicyclists, hypnotists, clowns, palm readers, face painters & buskers to entertain and instruct both children and adults. We can help you with team building events. It is not too late to book entertainment for 2016 Christmas or New Year's Eve or 2017 St. Patrick's Day as we still have a number of quality entertainers and bands to suit your function and your budget. Thursday, September 3rd performers – Kristine St-Pierre with George Turcotte

Kristine St-Pierre is an award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter with soul-searching ballads and a rollicking country flair. She weaves together a rich blend of folk, roots, and country music, captivating listeners with both English and French lyrics. Described as a ‘chansonnière’ with a traveling heart,’ Kristine's songs create an emotional journey that transcends language and genre. She received a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for her album La promesse released in 2017. In 2025 and 2026, she received the award for Francophone artist of the year by the Country Music Association of Ontario. She also counts herself lucky for having had the opportunity to perform in several countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ukraine and most recently in Belgium and France.

Thursday, August 27th performers - Donnie Leafloor (The Rainman) with Pat Robillard
Special event with the Fries for Charity team being onsite and serving fresh-cut fries with all donations going to charity.
Donnie Leafloor is the consummate musician: creating music with soul and giving back to the people and places that have influenced his artistry. For many years, he has lived in the Ottawa region and supports many community activities and events. His approachable personality makes him well known socially; and his professional attention to his craft and his obvious talent makes him much sought after for family and organization events. For more than a decade, he was a regular at Marshy’s in Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre, where the 600 seats were regularly filled, and where he became well acquainted with all of the Senators Hockey Team and many other people in the community.

Thursday, August 20th performers - Thompson Live
Osgoode resident Vince Thompson has been performing in various groups and as a solo artist for over 40 years. Presently his daughter Ange, sons Mick and Pat, as well as daughter-in-law Amanda (Nixon) have joined him to take you on a musical journey featuring songs of classic rock, rhythm and blues, and a little country too! They’ll share their version of hits from Elvis Presley and Bruce Springsteen to the Rolling Stones and Johnny Cash that you’re sure to enjoy. Thompson Live has provided entertainment at various events like Osgoode Porchfest and at the Osgoode Legion. You will surely be entertained by this home-grown family talent as they share their love of music.

Thursday, August 13th performers - The Low Keys Duo
The Low Keys are a bass and keyboard duo, performing favourite tunes, old and new. Dave Tettmar (Vocals/Keys), and Laura Greenberg (Bass/Vocals), deliver an energetic and interactive show. Formed in 2021, The Low Keys play blues, rock, pop, soul and more; from the Beatles, to CCR, to Oasis. On Keys and vocals, Dave, originally from the UK, is an award-winning musician with over 20 years’ experience touring internationally. Laura, two-time winner of the Maple Blues Award for Bassist of the Year, plays bass and adds harmonies.

Thursday, August 6th performers - The Gallaghers
The Gallaghers (thegallaghers.ca) are a family music group who have been playing together since Alan and Debbie met on their first day of college. Over the years as the children came, the band expanded and now features 3 generations on stage with the grandchildren helping out where they can. You will see them all or just some of them, depending on other commitments. The Gallaghers have played at fairs, community events, fundraisers, and rodeos, mostly in Eastern Ontario, but have travelled to the northern US and Scotland sharing their unique family-friendly music at various venues. Their repertoire includes country, gospel, Celtic, and folk. Their blend of family-friendly, country, faith-filled shows featuring a blend of familiar and original music is suitable for audiences of all ages.

Thursday, July 30th performers - Birds of a Feather Duo
Birds of a Feather is an acoustic duo from the Kemptville area. Kelly Latimer on vocals and John Wilberforce on acoustic guitar and vocals provide an easy listening experience with their silky-smooth vocals and tight harmonies. John Wilberforce is a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing music around Eastern Ontario for 30 years. He writes and records original songs in his home studio and has produced several albums for many local artists. Kelly Latimer has been performing shows for several years and also sings as backing vocalist in “SOS – The ABBA Experience”. She has recorded vocals for various artists in the studio. Kelly and John met while playing in the “SOS – The Abba Experience” and soon discovered their mutual love of the group “The Civil Wars”. This prompted them to form their own duo covering many songs in that style. If smooth delivery and silky vocals with lots of harmony is you’re thing, you surely won’t be disappointed once you hear Birds of a Feather!

Thursday, July 16th performers Lady Blond Duo with “Fries for Charity”

Lady Blond Duo
Local ladies Helen Parsons (Metcalfe) and Michele Cochrane (Russell) make up the dynamic duo Lady Blond. Helen and Michele have been playing music together for over twenty years and were both members of the Diamond Heart Band. Through their musical career they have had the pleasure of playing at local fairs, curling clubs, dances, private and charity events. They get great pleasure entertaining at many of the retirement residences and long-term care homes. Lady Blond plays a variety of music that will make you feel good and want to get up and dance. With Michele on lead vocals and Helen on the keyboard and background vocals, these two ladies know how to entertain. It might be old songs or new, country or soft rock but there will be a song for you! Fries for Charity will be at this event, raising money for the Care Centre.
