Meet Chef Rose 👩‍🍳🌱. She will be one of several amazing guest chefs creating amazing vegan dinner plates at our Guinness Book of Records attempt 200+ person 6 course culinary vegan longtable event in Prince Edward County, Ontario on August 10th. Partial proceeds will be donated to the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada.

Local to the county will be Chef Bailey and coming in from Los Angeles, California will be Chef Lauren Toyota hot for food blog. We will be hosting this milestone vegan culinary longtable event at the stunning vegan vineyard of karlo estates . You won’t need binoculars to see this vegan longtable – it might even make it into the Guinness Book of World Records! 🔎 Let us explain.

We’re honoured and excited to be part of GASTHAUS & CO.’s vegan longtable event this summer. From every ticket purchased, they’re going to donate a portion – the funds that would normally go towards buying meat/non-vegan products for this kind of event – to the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada, so we can continue to build a more sustainable future with partners across Canada and Africa. 🤝

And where does the world record come in? Well, with space for 200 people, this could be the longest and largest vegan longtable dinner in history! 🎉 The event is taking place at the world’s first and oldest certified vegan winery, Karlo Estates, in Prince Edward County, Ontario. This past weekend we hosted a two day longtable dinner & show event at an absolutely stunning estate. I wanted to say thank you to Rob & Liisa (owners) for giving us the opportunity to host one of our events at their Estate. The Clyde Hall B&B Estate Clyde Hall B&B sprawls over 10 acres of private property. The driveway to the manor is serene and beautiful. The main manor building and its 7 bedrooms is perfectly maintained (fully renovated) and exemplifies pure historic luxury. There is also pool-side chalet for even more privacy. If you are ever in Lanark County or need a day or two away from home, Clyde Hall is a destination not to be missed. Rob and Liisa are sure to be the most gracious hosts. Thank you both very much. I know all my guests loved it, especially those who were lucky enough to book early and get the "overnight package". Thank you and see you around one of our longtables soon...

Thank so much for making that 3 hour drive each whey...lol...it was lovely to hang out in person with all of you,... even Vince❤️💪🤦‍♂️🤣. Now I have to watch my back💪🤣🤣.

Another culinary longtable dinner & show holiday long weekend to remember. Thank you to Ottawa's very own 2024 Juno Awards nominee The JUNO Awards for Adult contemporary Album of the year Steph La Rochelle for gracing us with her musical talent. ❤️🎼. Thank you to Maple & Rose Merrickville for allowing us to use their absolutely stunning venue for our event❤️. Thank you .ott for offering digital memories. Thank you Village of Merrickville-Wolford Ontario Culinary for being such an inviting and friendly town towards all of us❤️Thank you to our in-house circus performers who sadly we did not capture on camara🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️❤️. Thank you to all the guests who drove in from far and wide to be part of this evening ❤️❤️..and thank you GASTHAUS & CO. team for putting in these extra long long days. We love you.
