Formerly known as Encore Bridal, we decided to undergo a complete rebrand to coincide with the move to our new location in Ottawa's Wellington West. Revelle better reflects the vibe of this trendy and upscale neighbourhood and suits our new direction towards providing a luxury bridal experience. At Revelle we like to do things a little differently by catering to the modern bride who prefers to shy

away from the usual stress and craziness of wedding dress shopping. Our boutique features a carefully curated collection of modern, stylish and unique wedding dresses from emerging, international and North American designers. While our focus is on the Bride, we also carry an impressive inventory of formal wear consisting of special occasion separates and gowns that are appropriate for the entire bridal party in addition to couture jewelry, bridal accessories and more. All bridal consultations are by appointment only however we do welcome walk-ins during our regular business hours from Thursday to Saturday.

This month, our very own Founder, Earleen, and her husband Mark are celebrating 32 years of marriage. So we asked Earleen for her best advice for couples preparing to say “I do.”

Here’s what she said:

“Protect the time that’s just for the two of you.

Wedding planning is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Between timelines, budgets, and endless decisions, it’s easy to lose sight of what this season is really about. Make time for date nights where wedding talk is off-limits and simply enjoy being engaged.

And when your wedding day arrives, steal a few quiet moments away from the celebration. Some of my favourite memories from our wedding day are the moments Mark and I shared alone. Thirty-two years later, those memories still make me smile.”

Almost one year married for these two, and I still remember the day Vanessa found her dress at Revelle. It was an intimate Mini Luxe appointment surrounded by the most supportive group of family and friends, all helping her navigate the excitement and narrow down her favourites until one gown quietly rose to the top.
While it wasn't quite a "yes" that day, I received a message from Vanessa at 8:30 the very next morning asking if she could come back with her mom to celebrate her moment. And just like that, she became a Revelle bride.
Being part of such a special chapter in our brides' lives is something I'll never take for granted. Seeing these beautiful wedding photos almost a year later fills my heart all over again.

It may not have been the warm and sunny start to wedding season we were hoping for, but the flowers still bloomed and so did our Revelle brides. 🤍
With nearly a dozen Revelle brides saying "I do" this month, wedding season is officially underway. And while you've been busy making memories, we've been patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for the photos. Trust us, we're just as excited to see them as you are.
May also brought two incredible designer trunk shows with Made With Love and Hera Couture, the latter now extended through June 7. We had the opportunity to participate in several beautiful styled shoots, each one bringing a unique vision to life and reminding us just how talented our local wedding community is.
Most importantly, we welcomed another wonderful group of brides into the Revelle family, and we couldn't be more grateful to be part of your journey.
