A little life update. 🤍

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter lately, it’s because our daughter made an early arrival and is currently in the NICU. Between spending my days at the hospital, recovering from birth, pumping around the clock, and also trying to spend time with my son at home, life looks a little different than I ever could have imagined.

While I have an incredible team who helps bring wedding days to life, I’m the one behind all of the planning, emails, timelines, meetings, and day-to-day operations. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding while I do all of my admin work from the hospital and response times are a little slower until little girl can go home!

To every couple and family who has trusted Tatianna-Michelline Event Co. this year, thank you. Your support means so much, especially during a season like this. Being trusted with some of life’s biggest milestones is something I’ll never take for granted.

Me because wedding season is finally here ✨

I know I’ve been incredibly quiet on here lately, but behind the scenes I’ve been working on something really exciting (it’s pretty huge, honestly). A few of you already know what’s been going on, but the rest of you will find out soon enough 😉

God I hope my sense of humour doesn’t lose me potential clients (I love these skeleton memes so much right now)

All jokes, but also, as your wedding planner, who’s worked tireless with you and your photo team on this list and timeline, not really 😭

I always ask before hand if you’re okay with more photos happening than what’s on the shot list (meemaw always wants to add people lol) and if you’re cool with it, we’re cool with it! If you’re not cool with it? I have no problem telling your guests we ain’t got that kind of time 🤷

You’re suddenly knee-deep in decisions, timelines, opinions. You wonder if you are choosing the right things, if your vision will translate, if it will all come together the way you imagined.

You’re married to your best friend. Your favourite people are gathered in one place, probably for the only time during your lifetime, all there for you, celebrating you. This is the moment that matters.

Not the thread count of the napkins.
Not the angle of the cutlery.
Not the Pantone colour of the year.

This.
Your people.
Your love.
Your day.

Yes, the details shape the experience. They support the story. But they are not the story itself.

Moments like this are why I do what I do. The joy, the anticipation, the kind of love you feel before you even walk down the aisle. That is the magic.

This time last year, we were at the stunning , wrapping up Shanice and Nick’s rehearsal dinner, with the nervous excitement in the air as their New Year’s Eve wedding was just hours away.

One year later, I’m reflecting on a year filled with beautiful love stories, incredible couples, and unforgettable memories created with each and every one of you who trusted my small business to be part of your biggest day. Just like Nick and Shanice’s wedding, every couple I work with is a reflection of why I love this industry so deeply and why I pour my heart into bringing wedding days to life. I can only say yes to so many weddings a year, but just know that when I do get signed on to your team, it means something to me, and I’d never otherwise agree to work on someone’s big day that I don’t totally and completely vibe with! Just like you should never ever sign on a vendor that YOU don’t completely vibe with!

It’s been a year of growth, gratitude, and truly incredible things, and I have some very exciting moments to share with you in the next 365 days.
