Courtney has worked in the event planning and service industry since graduating from Algonquin College in 2003, receiving her Festive and Community Event Management Diploma. Since the age of 19, Courtney has been in the food and beverage/service industry, and has worked her way up to a management position at a local business establishment. This role has included th
e management of staff and resident members, room design and decor, the ordering of resources and rental equipment, as well as the overall planning of corporate and private events (i.e., tournaments, showers, holiday and family events, weddings). Because of her great success, as well as the gentle nudge from her family, friends and former clients, she has followed her dream of opening her own wedding planning business. Courtney has built excellent relationships with wedding vendors and venues in the Ottawa and surrounding areas over the years. Her carefully curated list of wedding professionals means that you will have the best team taking care of every detail on your wedding day. Courtney is a wife, a mom of an adorable mini-poodle named Yoda, a DIY'er and an overall fun person to be around. Operations Manager: Amanda
Amanda has always had an entrepreneurial and creative mind, and she has successfully managed different businesses throughout her adulthood. From fitness coaching, online gift shops, producing educational materials, as well as a school district leader, Amanda has had her share of managing and leading people, a budget, and bringing vision to life. Amanda's vast working and personal experiences have given her an eye for detail and design. Amanda is a wife, mom of two teenagers and a mini-schnauzer, a DIY'er, fitness enthusiast, and has an overall zest for life. Courtney and Amanda have worked on many projects together and they make a great team. They are in sync when planning and collaborating; some would say that they are so in tune with each other that they can finish each other's sentences.
