It is a difficult time for couples, who were oh-so excited to get married in a short period of time and had their dreams crushed. ⁣
⁣
It is a difficult time for all those in the wedding industry who are being impacted. Because we all are. We all struggle with most of our weddings being postponed, which puts incredible financial strain on businesses.

Praying that life goes back to normal, as everyone is affected in their own way.⁣

Allow me to share a very long and likely uninteresting list of enjoyable things that have fulfilled me these past few weeks:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
▪️Plants 🌱 - I’ve been growing my veggies and flowers indoors so they can be ready to be transferred into the garden (if the snow ever decides to F off!)⁣⁣
⁣
▪️ Animals 🐶🐱🐱🐰🐔🐔🐔🐔 Lots of snuggling and walks lately. Oh, and staring out the window, the chickens are quite entertaining...⁣⁣
⁣
▪️ My significant other. We haven’t killed each other yet, and we’ve both been home for about a month now. Let’s just say there has been a lot of “me drafting and him building”. Bonus for all you couples who are looking for cute treat displays!⁣⁣

▪️ Baking. I will come out of quarantine with a little more to love, if ya know what I mean.⁣⁣

▪️ Wine. And more wine. 🍷 I used to be a white wine kind of gal, and now I’m both. So there’s a plus. ⁣⁣

Meet The Planner

Let me introduce myself! My name is Valerie and I am your typical hopeless romantic. I have worked extremely hard to turn my passion into a career. Starting my own side hustle at only 22 years of age, I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into. Fast forward 4 years - I couldn't be happier! I have the most fabulous job in the universe. I mean, who wouldn't want to help brides walk down the aisle on a weekly basis?! This process has taught me so much; the most important thing in the world is to do what you love. Life is too short to be unhappy!

When I'm not busy gardening or hanging out with my crew of animals, you can find me in my craft room working on my latest DIY project.

I always ask couples late in the evening on their wedding day: “Was this the best day of your life?” They always say yes. This is how I know I’m doing my job! You put so much time and money into making sure it’s perfect, let me take over while you relax and make sure it is, in fact, the best day of your lives.
