Jennet, i.e. my seven-year-old daughter suggested organizing end-of-season flower sale and call it "Jennet's Flowers". Anyone who wants to support her first business and treat oneself with local flowers are welcome!

Zinnias join the club!

If someone asks about the easiest flower to grow from seeds, the answer would be zinnias! They are quick to germinate and grow. They don't need any fertilizer and extra watering. They thrive in heat. Zinnias are cut and come again flowers, so they bloom until the first frost which is usually mid October in Ottawa.
