Did you know The Meadows has its very own décor rental collection? 🤍

One of our favourite ways to make wedding planning a little easier for our couples is by offering a beautiful collection of décor pieces available to rent right here at the venue!

No worrying about transporting everything, coordinating pickups, or returning rentals after the wedding. Everything is already here, ready and waiting for your big day!

Our collection is constantly growing, and we’re always on the hunt for new treasures! We especially love thrifting and sourcing beautiful vintage pieces that complement the romantic, English countryside aesthetic we’re creating here at The Meadows. 🌿

And the best part? Our décor collection is exclusively available to Meadows couples! We don’t rent our pieces to outside events, meaning our collection stays right here at the venue, reserved for the couples celebrating with us.

We’re always adding new finds, so keep an eye on our catalogue as our collection continues to grow!

Three years ago, while coasting through the Virgin Islands, I sent a message home saying, “I think it’s time I come home. I have an idea.”

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED my job. I was working in luxury tourism, living on yachts, creating unique and stunning dishes everyday, planning week long vacations, travelling to the most beautiful places and meeting people from all over the world. It really was a dream job, and leaving it was not an easy decision.

But somewhere along the way, the pull to bet on myself became stronger than the pull to stay.

I knew eventually I wanted to build something of my own. Something I could create, change, grow and take in a hundred different directions. I could already see what the business could become in 5, 10, 15 years—and I needed to try, and find out if we could actually do it.

And obviously, the added bonus of finally getting to come home, live with the love of my life and NOT be long distance anymore was a pretty big part of the decision too! Not only because I love him and would happily spend every waking minute with him, but because I knew we made a really, really good team. I genuinely believed that if we put our heads together and went all in on this, we could create something pretty special.

I wanted to come home. I wanted to work alongside people from the community I grew up in. I wanted to support local businesses, create things with people I’ve known for years, and build something right here that we could be proud of.

That pulled on a heartstring that yachting just couldn’t reach.

Three years after that first clip was taken, that little “idea” has already turned into a business with more branches than I ever could have imagined back then—including a wedding venue that started as another one of our crazy ideas and has now become The Meadows. 🥹

Do I sometimes miss cruising around the Caribbean, living on boats and working in luxury tourism? Absolutely 😂

But what we’re building here is ours. It’s surrounded by and dependent on LOVE. It’s magic. There’s no ceiling on what it can become, and we still have SO many ideas. 🤍

Not to toot our own horn, but we may have actually created the most beautiful, earthy, romantic venue ever 😭🥹😍

We work alongside every couple to create a personalized plan for their day—including an individualized rain plan, weather contingencies, timeline planning, and thoughtful backup options designed specifically for your wedding.

Hosting outdoor weddings isn’t about hoping for perfect weather. It’s about being prepared for every possibility.

Fall evenings? Our reception tent can be heated.

Unexpected weather? We already have a plan before the first cloud appears.

Timeline changes? We’ve thought through those too.
