🐷 Last Chance for a DIY Pig Roast — Order by October 15, 2026!

It’s been an amazing summer, and so many of you answered our question, “Is this your year for a DIY Pig Roast?” with a resounding YES! 🙌

We’ve really enjoyed hearing your success stories and seeing the smiles when the BBQs come back.

So, fair warning: our last weekend for DIY Pig Roasts is October 24–25, 2026. And yes, fall is a beautiful time to host a pig roast! 🍂🔥

We supply everything you need, including instructions, and provide a full demonstration when you pick up your BBQ. With multiple pig and BBQ sizes available, you can feed anywhere from 10 to 100 guests. Pre-made salads are also available to order in advance.

And don’t forget — we’ll give you the number for the Pig Help Line in case you need a hand. 📞🐷

Orders are due by October 15, 2026.

The Shaws Catering team was delighted to cater lunch during a recent Sudbury Barrie Transmission Line First Nation Community Open House.

It was wonderful to serve our fresh-from-the-grill BBQ buffet to such a receptive crowd — and always interesting to get a glimpse into the planning and consultation process for important projects in the region.

🎉 Celebrating Arlene’s Birthday in Style! 🎉

What a day! The Shaws Catering team had a blast catering this private barn party in Adjala, near Alliston.

It was our pleasure to prepare and serve a delicious custom BBQ buffet for 70 of Arlene’s closest friends and family, featuring:

🥩 Slow-grilled hip of beef & maple pork loins
🥔 Baby potatoes
🥕 Maple baby carrots
🫘 Shaws famous maple baked beans — a HUGE hit once again!
🥦 Broccoli-cheese salad
🥗 Caesar salad

Myla, Autumn, Sherri and Tom delivered another incredible fresh-from-the-grill meal that the guests absolutely loved!

Happy, happy birthday, Arlene! 🎂 And thank you to Arlene’s husband, Doug, for including us in such a fun day.

They pulled all the essential elements together for a fabulous fall wedding — family and friends, a gorgeous blueberry farm, a beautiful sunny day, and a small group of adorable and attentive farm animals!
