🎂 Shaws Brings the Heat to a Milestone Birthday! 🎉 🥂 🔥

Days like this remind us exactly why we LOVE catering. We get to meet wonderful people and help them celebrate life's most meaningful moments.

Our team was beyond delighted when this repeat customer asked us to help their family celebrate an important birthday for a very special person.

Set at a beautiful country home, the atmosphere was private, relaxed, and intimate—the perfect setting for family and friends to gather, share stories, create new memories, and enjoy a Shaws farm-fresh BBQ buffet.

Tom even recruited some of the younger guests to help decorate the roast table! 👨‍🍳 And they did a GREAT job!

🌪️☀️ Not Even a Sudden Storm Could Dampen This Day 💍

A beautiful sunny wedding day for Topanga and Matthew... until a sudden storm rolled in. ⛈️💨

Powerful winds brought down the tents covering our outdoor buffet, but thanks to an incredible team effort from the crew at Shaws Catering, along with the groomsmen and bridesmaids, everything was moved indoors in record time.

Before guests knew it, the buffet was set up inside the reception hall and dinner service continued as if it had been the plan all along.

130 guests enjoyed a custom Shaws BBQ buffet featuring roast pork, mac & cheese, maple baby carrots, baby potatoes, Caesar salad, and a five-bean salad.

☀️ The sun returned just in time for funnel cakes and ice cream for dessert—the perfect ending to an unforgettable day!

Teamwork really does make the dream work!

❤️ We LOVE Weddings at Evergreen Acres! 💍

Our team was thrilled to be back at Evergreen Acres Wedding & Event Venue to help celebrate the wedding of Alexis and Chris. Gorgeous setting, incredible hosts and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere make it such a wonderful place to say "I do".

🥂Cheers to 65 years at Miller Waste Systems! ✨

Huge congratulations to our friends at Miller Waste as they celebrate their 65th anniversary. 🙌

We've had the pleasure of serving the Miller team's staff appreciation event many times and this year's was extra special.

Delighted to be back in Markham, our team served a hot and delicious BBQ lunch for 200, including:
✨ Hip of beef with horseradish, sliced tomatoes, and onions
✨ Maple BBQ chicken breasts
✨ Potato salad
✨ Garden pasta salad,

The Great Canadian Lobsterfest never disappoints! What a night!

Our crew had a blast at the Rotary Club of Orillia's 2026 Lobsterfest last weekend at ODAS Park. It was the first time the event was held on the Roller Skating Place floor — a new larger venue — and the 380 guests seemed to enjoy every minute.

While the Rotarians steamed and prepared the lobster, our incredible team melted the garlic butter and served a delicious farm-to-table meal including:
✨ Hip of beef au jus with horseradish
✨ Baby potatoes
✨ Maple baby carrots
✨ Coleslaw
✨ Caesar salad

And to top it all off we prepared an irresistible ice cream sundae bar that featured vanilla bean ice cream, sliced bananas, chocolate chips, walnuts, marshmallows, gummy bears, whipped cream, and Shaws maple syrup. Of course we topped it all off with a cherry. 🍒

After dinner the Fat Tony Band had everyone up on their feet!!

Huge thanks to our amazing team of Duncan, Carley, Aly, Becca, Sherri, Shari, Jenn, Terri Lynn, and Tom. They kept the buffet fresh, the plates full, and the smiles coming all night long. ❤️

Kicking off the season with a sweet wedding at a secluded location 💍

Our team got an early start to BBQ season with this lovely tented celebration. Guests arrived by covered wagon, adding a touch of charm and adventure to the day. Spring rain cleared just in time for the ceremony, and the sun made a perfect appearance for dinner. ☀️

We served up a charcoal-grilled BBQ buffet for 130 happy guests, featuring:
