Excited to be back! Mac Gala

Guess who’s coming back to delight our tastebuds? 🍽️

We are thrilled to welcome back Eclectic Cafe by Melanie Robinson Catering as the Gala’s caterer this year. Chef Mel and her team have curated a thoughtful and deeply delicious three course meal for guests to enjoy.

Since it’s the organization’s ruby anniversary, this year’s menu will take guests on a culinary journey, drawing inspiration from the regions around the world where rubies are found. Offerings will reflect traditional flavours from those places, thoughtfully woven into the Gala’s dining experience.

A heartfelt thank you to Eclectic Cafe for their generous sponsorship. Your support helps us raise vital funds for the MacLaren’s children’s programs and exhibitions.

Eclectic Cafe are true culinary artists, and we can’t wait for our guests to indulge in what promises to be an unforgettable spread.

So grateful to kevin and Mel at Drenths butcher shop, for helping us supply the beautiful beef on our burger night! Hands down they have the best quality beef in town and one of my go to stops!

Friday, August 22 you’ll be able to taste my winning burger from the smash and sear competition at Hale muskoka. We are switching up from a casual fine dining menu to a pub night, music from, The missing piece! It’s gonna be a fantastic night.

We have an important announcement to share.

After 7 years working & building eclectic cafe & catering, our front of house & events manager & partner Alana has chosen to change course and say goodbye to eclectic cafe.

Alana started with me at the first large wedding I catered, worked farmers markets, painted walls & cleaned windows. She has served table’s in the cafe, organized events, weddings and charity events too many to count. She has been at the beginning of eclectic cafe inception and has seen this business grow over the last 7 years to where we are now.

The work she has done mostly behind the scenes has been amazing. I’m so grateful for her trust in following this crazy dream that became our dream together. I’m incredibly sad to see her go, but I’m so beyond proud of what we built along the way. We have also had incredible employees that have come through our little cafe with heart, to show this community what we are all about.

As one says in times of sadness, it’s not good bye, but see you later friend ❤️.
I love you, and I’m so grateful for you.
