Here's what you DON’T want to do!
1. Eat dinner before you come 🤦‍♀️🧀🔥
2. Arrive too late and miss out on some delicious food! 😔
3. Bring your dog or cat 😿🐶
4. Forget to bring ID (age of majority) or make a safe ride home plan 🕺😬
5. Plan to leave early 🤟🌗🎸

Bring your own plate and cutlery to reduce waste or purchase a reusable plate on site. Enjoy delicious food lovingly prepared by local chefs, taste brews and wines crafted by local producers, and boogie down to live music from Big Easy Funk Ensemble = have one phenomenal summer night in Oliver Community Park!

🚗 Parking Advisory – Busy Weekend Ahead!

This weekend is going to be bustling at Oliver & District Recreation, so here’s what to expect if you’re planning to visit:
Friday (June 12)
✅ All parking areas at the Rec Centre are open — feel free to walk, roll, or drive down!

Saturday (June 13)
🚙 Increased traffic around the clubhouse, curling club, and pool
🎾 We’re welcoming 100+ pickleball players per day— it’s going to be lively!

Sunday (June 14)
☀️ Oliver Family Days + Sunshine Slam Pickleball Tournament
⚠️ Parking will be very limited

Plan Ahead 🚲👟
We strongly encourage alternative transportation like biking or walking, or using these nearby overflow parking options:
📍 Kinsmen Park (255 Fairview Rd) – 7-minute walk
📍 Coast Hotel – 7-minute walk
📍 Oliver Tourism Centre / Station Street Parking – 10-minute walk

Who's Playing?

Young Pony:

Young Pony will be on the stage from 5:45-7:00PM on Sunday June 14th

Young Pony is a one off 'Super Group’ cover band made up of Matt Rands and Tim Reardon from The Young’uns; and Kim Kayzer and Joe Northcott from One Trick Pony! They are playing all the hits from the 80s, 90s, and onward! Make sure you get close to the stage to hear these guys when they are on, because you will be blown away!

Who's Playing?

Hillary and the Backroad 3 are playing 2:30-3:30PM Sunday June 14th.

Hillary and the Backroad 3 is a South Okanagan band bringing together classic rock favourites, country hits, and crowd-pleasing pop. Featuring Hillary, Norah, Jesse, and Brayden, the group blends strong vocals with rich harmonies to create a fun, upbeat atmosphere for any audience.

Whether they’re playing wineries, community events, patios, or lively pub nights, Hillary and the Backroad 3 deliver songs people know, love, and can’t help but sing along to. Rooted in small-town charm and a shared passion for live music, they bring down-to-earth energy and easy-going vibes that keep the good times rolling!

Please be advised of traffic interruptions and road closures due to the 'Dynamic Races Triathlon' taking place on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7.

Traffic will be controlled at various intersections along the bike route - including Park Drive, Tucelnuit Drive, McKinney Road, and Fairview Road.

Lakeside Drive will be closed to traffic between Merlot Avenue and Rotary Park from Friday at noon until Sunday at 7:00pm.

Additionally, there will be several parking restrictions on Park Drive and Station Street throughout the weekend.

We encourage motorists to plan ahead and choose alternate routes to avoid congestion.
