White + green, but with a little more wildflower energy. 🤍🌿

Sarah wanted the timeless white and green palette, but with a softer, more garden-inspired feel — airy movement, lots of texture and flowers that feel a little less perfectly placed.

And a fun little full-circle moment: I also designed the wedding flowers for one of Sarah’s best friends earlier this summer. Two besties, two white + green weddings, and two completely different takes on the same palette. 🥹

A little break from all the fall florals 🌸🧡

This one was a fun little creative challenge! A last-minute request for something bright and cheerful, right in the middle of Thanksgiving orders when my studio was stocked with all things fall.

So, I got a little creative with what I had on hand! Bright coral roses, soft pinks, pops of yellow and a splash of deep burgundy that actually ended up being one of my favourite parts of the arrangement.

A little reminder that last-minute orders aren't always possible, but when they are, a bit of creative freedom can go a long way! ✨

Well, I suppose it's time for a little reintroduction since there's quite a few new faces around here! 👋

I'm Gabrielle, the face behind Prairie & Pine Floral Design (although you're much more likely to see my flowers than my face on here 😂).

I'm a wife, mom of two, and the one-woman show behind this little floral business in Okotoks.

I work out of my home studio, which means I'm usually juggling flower orders, school pickups, workshops, wedding planning and approximately 47 other things at any given time.

I started Prairie & Pine in 2024, and what began as a little business out of my garage has grown into something I'm pretty darn proud of.

I love flowers with personality, unexpected colour combinations and designs that are a little less traditional. Basically, if you give me some creative freedom, we're going to get along just fine. 😉

I don't share much of my family life on here, but these three are a pretty big part of why I do what I do (and why my studio hours sometimes revolve around school drop-offs and snack requests).

So whether you're new here or have been following along since the beginning, thanks for being here and supporting my little corner of the flower world! ❤️

Toffee roses are having their moment, and I'm here for it. 🤎

One of my favourite little floral tricks! Take a rose that looks pretty ordinary, flip it upside down, give it a spin and watch those petals open up into something beautiful.

No individually flipping petals. No complicated techniques. Just a little spin and a whole lot of fluffy goodness.

Prairie & Pine is officially GOLD for Best Floral Shop in Okotoks!!

Last year we took home Silver, and this year you guys bumped this little home-based flower studio up to GOLD. 🤍

I started Prairie & Pine in my garage in 2024 with absolutely no idea where it would take me — and now, a little over two years later (and conveniently on my birthday 😂), I get to share this.

Every bouquet, wedding, workshop, subscription, last-minute flower request and “just make something pretty” order comes through my hands, so this one feels pretty special.

Thank you to every single person who voted, ordered flowers, came to a workshop, recommended my name or continued to support this little business of mine! 🧡

Six bridesmaids, six different flowers 🤍

Ranunculus, callas, roses, tulips + dahlias for the bridesmaids, blue delphinium & tweedia for the MOH — then a little bit of everyone brought together for the bridal bouquet, with some cosmos + eucalyptus added in.

I loved this concept so much!
