Q. What’s the most rewarding part of being a chef?
Honestly, it’s the reactions. Watching someone take that first bite and you can see it hit them, that moment where food brings people together. That’s what keeps me going.

Q. Who has influenced your cooking the most?
Definitely my family. Growing up, meals were a big deal, and everything was made with care.
