🍂 This Thanksgiving, I’ve been thinking about what I’m truly thankful for.🍂

My first thoughts go to my Mom and Dad. ❤️

I’m so thankful for supportive parents who show up when they’re needed and who have been there through so many chapters of life and business. I’m also thankful for the reminder that a year can change a lot. Sometimes time brings healing, perspective, growth, and a fresh appreciation for the people who matter most.

And then there’s someone I want to give a very special thank you to. ❤️

There is a wonderful lady who has been quietly cheering me on since the very beginning of this recharge of Rose Bowl. She sends people my way, sends those little supportive messages every now and then when I need a nudge, and somehow I can feel the genuine love and encouragement all the way from Sturgeon Falls. 🥰

Thank you for being the kind of person who lifts another business owner up instead of looking at them as competition.Thank you for celebrating someone else’s wins, for sending people my way, for believing in me, and for simply being genuine and sweet.

Small business can sometimes feel like a very solo journey, but people like you remind me that it doesn’t have to be. There is room for all of us to succeed, support one another, and cheer each other on. 🤎

So this Thanksgiving, I’m especially thankful for the people who show up, believe in me, encourage me, and genuinely want to see me succeed.

A few of my favourites from this week… and a little reminder that kindness goes a long way. 💛

There’s just something about fall flowers — the rich colours, the unexpected pops of purple, golden yellows and warm tones — that make these vase arrangements some of my favourites to create. 🍂🌻🌹

And speaking of little things that brighten your day…

This morning, someone ahead of me at Tim Hortons on Cassells Street paid for my coffee. ☕️💛 Then I had a nice customer review on my website :)

They had no idea I’d had a particularly heavy week, but those small, unexpected gestures genuinely lifted my spirit.

It’s funny how sometimes it’s the simplest things that remind you to keep going.

Small business owners need encouragement too. We’re usually busy taking care of everyone else, creating, delivering, answering messages, solving problems, and keeping everything moving — but a kind word, a coffee, a review, an order, or even a simple “you’re doing a great job” can mean more than people realize. 🥰

So today, I’m passing that kindness along. 💛
