The big screen is locked in, and our friends at Barn + Bliss are hosting the ultimate World Cup viewing party on Thursday, June 18th as Canada takes on Qatar! 🇨🇦 🆚 🇶🇦
They are opening the barn doors at 5:00 p.m., the whistle blows at 6:00 p.m., and Duchesne Roasters will be on-site as the official food provider to keep the crowd fueled through every single minute of the action!
While you cheer on the home team in the beautiful barn, our crew will be serving up a legendary game-day menu:

We came, we saw, we talked weddings until our voices completely left the building! 🗣️💍✨ (Swipe to see the calm before the storm at our booth! 📸)
Wow, what an absolute blast at the wedding expo! There is nothing quite like the incredible energy of a room filled with couples planning their big day.
But let’s be real for a second: you don’t actually realize how much a wedding expo takes out of you until you get home, sit down, and realize your feet are staging a formal protest. Between standing strong against the hustle and bustle, meeting so many wonderful future newlyweds, and talking menus until we were basically communicating in charades, we are officially running on empty—but we couldn't be happier.
A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, and a special shout-out to the incredible couples who shared one-on-one with me during Sunday's meet-and-greet. Getting to hear your stories and visions firsthand was the absolute highlight of my weekend. I truly can’t wait to help make your wedding dreams come true! 🥂✨

Me, doing my final 27-point inspection of the buffet line to make sure everything is absolutely flawless... 😂 🔍

But seriously, when you’ve spent 20 years in the catering business, you tend to care a lot about the details. You see a lot of weddings, watch the trends come and go, taste a thousand different menus, and see hundreds of beautiful couples take the leap. 🥂

If all that time behind the scenes has taught me anything, it’s this one golden piece of advice for anyone planning their big day: Stay true to what YOU want.
At the end of the day, it is your celebration. Whether it’s choosing the exact protein for your menu (and yes, you can absolutely do late-night sliders instead of a formal filet mignon if that's your vibe!) or picking the perfect shade for your bouquet, follow your heart.

When you look back on your wedding day decades from now, you want to remember a reflection of the genuine dreams you and your partner built together.
Now, don't get me wrong—our friends and family love us, and their opinions usually come from a place of pure excitement! We love them for it. But there is a big difference between welcoming input and letting others impose their will on your day. Your wedding should honor your values, your personal style, and your unique love story.
So take a note from my buffet inspection: check the details, thank your loved ones for their input, but ultimately? Hold hands, trust your gut, and plan the exact day you can’t wait to live through. ✨

What an incredible day! The barn was absolutely buzzing, the string lights were glowing, and we had the best time meeting so many amazing couples planning their dream weddings.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Duchesne Roasters booth to chat, grab a business card, and sample our signature buffet and late-night bite preview! Our tasting spread was a massive hit, featuring:
