The First Look Wedding Show 2023 is happening this Saturday, March 25th + Sunday, March 26th from 11:00am-4:00pm, hosted by Vineyard Bride and our generous friends at Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery!

If you are planning a wedding or know someone who is, The First Look is the perfect way to celebrate. We have a beautiful lineup of vendors + experiences to provide our attendees: sip wine, sample food, photo booths, a beauty bar, a lounge space to enjoy live music and so much more!

Ohhhh I love a happy day!

Nothing like a pandemic wiping out all of your weddings to motivate you to freshen up your brand + website.

This unprecedented time was a gift as it allowed me to seriously think through the way I want to portray my brand, business, and myself, moving forward. An opportunity to pause in the moment of how far I've come.

I have always been proud of the way my business has grown and evolved, but this version, this grown-up, polished, fresh + so clean version; she's my favourite.

None of it would have been possible without the creativity, heart, wisdom, foresight, love, and enthusiasm, of the 10+ women who made up each moving part of the newest chapter of this little business of mine.

If you are looking to refresh your brand, launch a new project or create something beautiful, please take a moment to love on these souls. They're good s**t; plus all female-led businesses? I can't tell you how into it I am.

A big part of my world is as writer + social media editor for Vineyard Bride as well as co-planner for The First Look Wedding Show 2019, our annual wedding show. It has been such a treasure to immerse myself into the Niagara wedding industry, form connections, and diversify my directory of resources; as a planner, it's been an invaluable opportunity.

I find that my creative soul is most inspired during the change of seasons when simply everything transforms. The weather shifts and the landscape transitions its palette and silhouette. We refresh our wardrobes, restyle our homes, even our mindsets begin preparation for the warmth of summer days, the bite of a harsh winter, or the joy of spring in full bloom.

While pulling myself from the depth of winter I felt a longing for spring days when everything feels lighter, brighter and full of hope.

Flashes of delicate blooms, fabric with movement and soft, unstructured beauty. Feminine touches that felt effortlessly romantic came to life in a way that for me, embodies the grace and beauty every woman attempts to achieve in her wedding design.

Using a clean approach, the team was able to focus on putting forth powerfully concentrated versions of their best work, filled with intentional details. This editorial was the product of many hands and moving parts. The memory of being a part of creating both conjures up so many feelings for me.

With a full-term Frankie in my belly, baby girl and I spent the day surrounded by creative women who when set to the task of making magic, refused to let a single detail go unnoticed.
