I had the honour of officiating this beautiful wedding at Bloom Field Gardens and from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I was truly impressed.
The venue was absolutely spectacular—flowers and lush greenery in every direction, creating the most romantic setting for this special day. The staff were outstanding, warm, and attentive, ensuring everything unfolded seamlessly.
It was elegant, yet relaxed and inviting—such a perfect backdrop for a heartfelt and memorable celebration. 💕 I look forward to officiating there again and again.

🌟 Venue Spotlight: Mill Run Golf Club 🌟

Wow! I recently had the absolute pleasure of officiating a wedding at the beautiful Mill Run Golf Club in Uxbridge, and I just have to shout out their incredible team.

Mother Nature decided to keep us on our toes that day. The Mill Run staff initially set up a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. Then, the weather turned, so they quickly shifted and set everything up inside. But just as they finished, the sun broke through the clouds—so what did they do? They moved everything back outside for a second time! ☀️☀️

Through all the chaotic transitions, there wasn't a single complaint—just smiles, professionalism, and pure joy. They were fully dedicated to making sure the couple got their dream ceremony.

If you are a couple looking for an outstanding wedding venue in the GTA with a team that will truly go above and beyond for you, I cannot recommend Mill Run Golf Club enough!

This Saturday, enjoy a truly fascinating family experience at the Annual Fish Lift hosted by The Mill at Cobourg Creek 🐟🌿
It’s wonderful that The Mill hosts this event each year, bringing the community together to support local conservation and create a hands-on learning experience for all ages.
Gather your kids, grandkids, and neighbours to watch volunteers safely help 200 trout make their way up and over the falls so they can continue to spawn and grow the local population.
🗓 Saturday April 11th, 2026
⏰ 8–11:30am
📍 Back lot parking at The Mill at Cobourg Creek
🐟 All volunteers must register to participate
A meaningful way to spend the morning together and connect with nature 💛

Annual Fish Lift hosted by The Mill at the Cobourg Creek is a GO 🏁 for this Saturday Morning!

Gather the family, grand kids & neighbours as we will be opening up our 9th hole to the public to come watch as volunteers lift 200 trout up and over the falls up to Cobourg creek.

Volunteers start gathering in our BACK lot at 8am for registration and we will head to the creek for 9am.

Starting under the bridge at Elgin & Ontario our volunteers will move the fish forward to the deeper water under the falls. From there we will track and place fish in our pulley system to get 200 trout up and over the falls safely & without harm so they can spawn and continue to grow the trout population.

Approximate Timing:
🗓️ Saturday April 11th, 2026
8-9am - Registration (Back Lot)
9:30am - Move fish to under falls
10-11:30 - Fish up and over

Volunteer Notes:
Want to get into the water and help?

🐟 All volunteers going into the water MUST register.
🐟 Please come prepared with chest waders, net, gloves and an extra set of warm clothes.
🐟 All children going into the creek must be accompanied by an adult.
🐟 4 Hours of High School Volunteer Hours can be signed off on for participation.
🐟 Parking for all Volunteers and Spectators in BACK LOT of the Mill Golf Course and Restaurant.

So happy to see Burnham Family Farm reopening—one of those true local gems that so many of us have missed! It’s the kind of place you go for the freshest local produce, homemade baking, and beautifully stocked preserves and canning, and somehow always leave with a little more than you planned because everything feels so good.
Even more than the food, it’s the people that make it special. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about the community they’re serving. It really is more than a farm shop—it’s a community hub, and it’s wonderful to have it back.
