This Article is a brief description of how we decide to move from ON two AB. It was released at the perfect time.
We are still smack dab in the middle of our moving journey right now.

reached out to me shortly after I started my Moving from Ontario to Alberta] Instagram. This was an incredible opportunity and my honor. I am extremely passionate about sharing details in hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams. Perhaps it removes a few doubts/fears in making a big relocation move. I really hope it starts many conversations between loved ones. The world is so full of adventure and opportunities.

We only visited our Alerta home and town of Peace River this past week for the first time. It was INCREDIBLE. We did purchase it " sight unseen" which was an experience in itself. See post below.

Everything, the town the house, the land, the scenery, it all blew past our expectations.

Just wanted to say hi 👋 and check in, two months have flown by, it’s been a different busy this year without the shop. Baby Amelia was born December 22nd just before Christmas. She’s healthy and such a sweetie and Harrison is over the moon! We have been working away in our new farmhouse so that we will be ready for all the new spring chores. We haven’t come up with a name for our hobby farm, homestead yet (open to suggestions!) The greenhouse is going up in March and we’re so excited to start this new adventure.

I would first off like to personally thank everyone who has supported my shop and family over the past 9 years. When the fire happened in June we were eager and told we’d be back and running by November, just before our busiest season, Perfect! Unfortunately, due to many hiccups with engineers and construction delays we were left with a difficult decision. When informed that the shop wouldn't be ready until the end of January and with a new baby coming in December we had to make the decision to close Floral Occasions as it is unfortunately no longer a viable option to keep open. These past months have both been financially and emotionally straining especially with the extra pregnancy hormones. However, with all that has happened I have to believe, there’s a reason that has led me down this path. New beginnings and a whole new adventure. We have decided to take a sad situation and move towards something new. We have sold our home and bought a bigger property a ways away. As a family many know us to always enjoy the outdoors and soak up any bit of nice weather. This property will allow us to discover more country living and prospects of starting a hobby farm. I may take my passion for flowers to another level and begin to grow small crops, who knows. At this moment we don't have a concrete plan, but we have a whole lot of ideas and dreams. My first priority will be my family and new baby Amelia when she comes in December. If you are interested in following this new adventure, I will be posting here on a personal level. Hey guys as you know the shop is undergoing a huge renovation after the fire next door to us. All of our inventory has been removed and the salvageable items are going on my yard for you guys to scoop up some sweet deals! This entire process has been emotional but in order to start fresh this is the next step! Thank you for your continued support and looking forward to seeing some familiar faces. Hey pals! Sorry we’ve been so quite lately. It’s been a very challenging time with not being able to open. The shop is still under construction. I’m wondering if any of my Ingersoll folk know of any local trailer or storage boxes to rent. We need to move a lot of our stock this week to make room for the construction. Any leads would be super helpful ❤️🙏

Even with shop closed for demo and construction we still have weddings to honour! This past week has been a whirlwind with roadblocks and many hiccups. Huge shout out to my team, our weddings turned out beautifully even with me sitting out on the sidelines.

No time is the right time to announce we adding a new member to our flower family. Baby is arriving at the end of December
