Fresh off of a performance at our Youth Showcase on Carlton's Community Stage with his band Mudbound, Aidan Maclean joins some serious Pictou County talent with a solo performance today.

Carlton's Community Stage standouts Jet Black Mirror and The Bombed Solid will be hitting the stage as well. This is going to be a fun one!

Don't miss Strutless Music Back 2 School, an all ages rock show at Glasgow Square Theatre

We REALLY need YOUR help with sharing this!

All Ages Shows have been the foundation of many musical beginnings for bands and this is something that has always been special to us.

We are a very small company that has teamed up the The Glasgow Square to make sure the youth in our community has a stage for their voices to be heard, for the music lovers to come out and enjoy the shows in a relaxed, safe, substance free venue with both senior acts and youth acts.

PLEASE help us get this out to the kids! Without them, these show won’t exist. These events aren’t about this company or our bands…it’s about the kids. Let’s get the word out there!!

We really couldn’t do the Jubilee without our volunteers.

Every year, so many people give us their time whether it’s a few hours or the whole weekend from helping at the gates, beverage service, box office, with set-up and tear-down, and a hundred other things that need to happen to pull this festival off.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for us this year.

2026 volunteers keep an eye on your inbox! We have some fun news coming your way soon.

And if you finished the weekend thinking you’d like to get a little more involved, we’re already starting to build our team for 2027. We’re looking for Volunteer Managers who would like to take on a bigger role and help us lead different areas of the festival.
Send us a message we’d love to chat.

THE TRAGICALLY HIP: A NATIONAL CELEBRATION

Ten years later, Canadians will come together once again to celebrate one of the most unforgettable nights in Canadian music.

On Saturday, August 22nd, our friends at Glasgow Square Theatre will host a FREE community screening of the 10th anniversary re-broadcast of The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration.

Originally broadcast live by CBC from Kingston, Ontario in 2016, the concert marked The Tragically Hip’s final performance and became a shared national moment, watched by millions of Canadians from coast to coast.

Now, 10 years later, we’re bringing our community together at Glasgow Square to experience it again.

Want to make a night of it? Swing by Mordoors Pub for a pre-show celebration from 5:00–7:00 PM! They’ll be blasting The Hip and offering food and drink specials before you make your way over to Glasgow Square.

Thirty years ago, the Town of New Glasgow took a chance on a little festival, not knowing what it would become. Today, the Jubilee brings an estimated $1.5 million in economic impact to our community, we couldn’t do it without the Town and support from Town Hall, our CAO and Mayor and Council and all Town of New Glasgow Employees.

A huge thank you to Public Works and Engineering, who are essential to getting the site ready, managing road closures, barricades and all the behind-the-scenes work that makes festival weekend possible.

We are grateful for the contributions made by Chief Ryan Liel, Deputy Chief Nick Hirtle and Sargent Jason Lloyd who lended their expertise in our planning process as well returned to all ages, and the support from the entire New Glasgow Regional Police Department as well as Captain Ross White for collaboration and New Glasgow Fire Department for keeping public safety front of mind.

30 years later, we’re still here and we’re incredibly grateful New Glasgow has been with us from the beginning.
