🤍 A Little Update From Nell’s Events 🤍
Over the last three years, we’ve had the absolute privilege of helping you celebrate some of life’s biggest moments. From birthdays and weddings to graduations, corporate events, and everything in between, you’ve trusted us to be part of your memories, and we don’t take that lightly.
The truth is, we LOVE doing it all. We love saying yes, taking on new ideas, and helping bring your visions to life. But as our business has grown, so have the responsibilities, the stress, and the time required behind the scenes.
The past three years have been a journey. Our family has grown, our lives have changed, and we’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on what truly fills our cup and brings us joy.
So what does this mean?
Honestly… we’re still figuring that part out.
What we do know is that some changes are coming.
✨ A More Focused Service Lineup
Having a wide range of services has been incredible, but it has also stretched us in many directions. Moving forward, we’ll be focusing more on the services we genuinely love and enjoy creating.
Surprisingly enough, I completely fell in love with balloons. What started as an add-on became one of my favourite parts of this business. We want to dedicate more time to learning, growing, and developing that skill so we can continue bringing you bigger, better, and more beautiful creations.
✨ More Time for Family
When Nell’s Events began, our family looked very different than it does today. While we’ve spent years helping others celebrate birthdays, holidays, milestones, and special occasions, we’ve realized we’ve often missed out on some of our own.
Family matters.
This means you’ll likely see less weekend availability, fewer full-service events, and more rental options, weekly installs, grab-and-go items, and in-store pickups.
✨ Changes to Pricing & Availability
Our availability will become more limited as we intentionally take on fewer events.
Every event requires planning, communication, preparation, setup, and often many hours that aren’t always visible. As we’ve grown, we’ve realized our pricing hasn’t always reflected the time, care, and effort that goes into creating the experience we want our clients to have.
Like many small businesses, we’ve also seen significant increases in supply costs over the last few years. To continue providing the quality you’ve come to expect, some pricing adjustments will be necessary.
Most importantly, we want to ensure that every event we commit to receives the attention it deserves.
✨ Quality Over Quantity
Rather than trying to do everything, we want to do fewer things exceptionally well.
We want to create with intention, continue learning, grow our skills, and bring you work we’re truly proud of. We want to show up as the best version of ourselves for our clients, our business, and our family.
This isn’t goodbye to anything just yet—it’s simply the next chapter for Nell’s Events.
