Kootenay Outdoor Recreation Enterprise Initiative - KORE invites you to a night of underground adventure at the The Capitol Theatre Nelson on March 11 at 7pm.

They’re screening "Subterranean," the award-winning cave exploration film that took home the Best Adventure Film award at the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival. The 53-minute film showcases the deepest cave in Canada, located near Fernie, and will be followed by an onstage conversation with , one of the film’s stars, and adventure journalist .

After the lights come up, Katie will take us deeper into the story behind the film and her all-consuming drive to explore the cave system known as Bisaro Anima. She'll also discuss her move from a corporate accounting career to full-time exploration and the creation of , the performance caving apparel company she co-founded when the equipment she needed didn’t exist.

Come for the film. Stay for the stories, the grit, and the gear talk. This will be an unforgettable evening for anyone who loves wild places, bold pivots, and the kind of curiosity that refuses to turn back.

Tickets are $23.50 and can be purchased via: ⬇️
