Wow! It’s been a while! Like over a year since I posted last… 😆

We’ve been busy building a house, building a studio, raising our kiddos, and rolling with the constant changes surrounding our lease favourite C- word (yup, Covid). It’s been a whirlwind but things are coming together and BC is finally opening back up just in time for wedding season! Our inbox is overflowing with couples excited to finally celebrate their big day and we are SO HERE FOR IT.

We’ve also got some new goodies starting to arrive, like our Blush dinner plates which are just so freaking pretty! These round out our Matte dishware collection, which also come in Linen (salad plate pictured), Smoke, and Charcoal.

We’ve got lots of new followers around here (thanks for joining us!), so I’ll pop back in soon to reintroduce ourselves and share a bit about why we love what we do.

This past weekend we were honoured to win Best Specialty Decor Wedding Rentals (for the second year in a row 🙌), as well as Best Custom Wedding Stationery Item at the 7th Annual Vancouver Island Wedding Awards!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It totally takes a village and I couldn't do it without the help of an amazing team behind me, most importantly my husband Brad who has really become the other half of this little business over the years.

I also want to give special thanks to Borrowed And Blue Events for bringing us on to this beautifully planned day, Bespoke Blossoms for always making whatever I do look 10 x better with florals, and Lilly Ann Photography for taking the dreamiest of photos.

Heading home from an amazing few days in LA for and I can’t even begin to explain how valuable this experience was for my business. It’s easy to just get in the flow of things and keep your head down, but I have big goals for this little company of mine and the best way for me to achieve that is to always be learning. Being in a room with so many like-minded individuals for two days who just GET IT is something I will never forget! So thanks for the sunshine and new friendships LA - see ya next time! 🌴☀️

Wow… how is Christmas just a week away?! It’s been a liiiittle quiet on here (ok, we know you’ve heard crickets 😂), but we’ve definitely had a busy few months behind the scenes. Here’s just a small peek at some of the going-ons:

⁃
◾️2020 couples are on the ball! We’re already 60% booked for next year, which is crazy. It’s quite possible I dream about email replies right now, but we’re so thankful for all of you for wanting to work with us!

◾️we’ve been working on the final plans for our new home and studio/warehouse space. We finally break ground in April 🙌 and anyone who’s built a house themselves knows this is a job in itself!

◾️we’ve become professional drivers between school, dance, gymnastics, and swim practice with our kids now that wedding season is over and just general life things, because

◾️and now we’re just wrapping up a few last things so that we can take some much needed time off!

On that note, we’ll be signing off this Friday, December 20th until our return on Tuesday, January 7th. All messages and emails will be responded to in the order they are received upon our return.

Merry Christmas everyone and we can’t wait to see what 2020 brings!

Since its inception in 2014, Darling Vintage Rentals & Styling has grown into an award-winning boutique rental company for weddings and events across Vancouver Island.
